Claudia the manager is a ray of sunshine. Positive and great energy :) I rented a car. They didn't have the one I made a reservation for. So I had to wait just a little bit. But Claudia kept me updated the whole time and was just super sweet. She got me another car that satisfied my needs. This is usually my go to place for rentals in Long Beach. If you need a car and want a great experience. Just go to this enterprise and ask for Claudia :)

I do not recommend this Enterprise location. The representative who helped me out named Claudia charged me for “optional protection”. I did not ask for it, and she automatically signed me up for it without informing me. When I returned the car I asked if the damage protection plan was optional, and a different representative said it was. Do not come here because they will add on extra charges without you agreeing to it.

I really needed time to see what I'd say. Because my trouble isn't with the team, but in fact with the company. I have a chip card that they couldn't swipe because my chip just wouldn't take. They rejected my rental (provided to me from my insurance) because they couldn't tap/insert my card. Now, living in 2024, this so called age of technology, why can't they just swipe my card? ITS AGAINST COMPANY POLICY. But you're able to swipe a card that doesn't have a chip? And that's perfectly fine? That's absolutely mind blowing. I do and did everything by the books, I'm not a shady person, I'm not even a mean person...only to be told I can't rent the car...so now I'm stuck without being able to go work, without being able to move (because I'm also in that process). I can't rent a car that MY INSURANCE PROVIDED ME WITH AND ENTERPRISE IS WITHHOLDING THAT RENTAL! Do better. Because a chip and a card strip aren't going to stop anything. There are regular ass people out there trying so damn hard! You guys do not know how much I was counting on that rental, my LIVELIHOOD! That was my livelihood...to see me standing there with tears running down my face, and an exception couldn't be made because my damn chip was broken? Not because I was causing problems, or because I wasn't willing to pay, or I couldn't provide the money, or I was trying to cheat you guys? No, because the chip on my card wasn't working....DO. BETTER.

I recently went to Hertz to get a rental car when my car got stolen. They wanted a $500.00 deposit to use a debit card which was insane. So I left and went to Enterprise they took good care of me and communicated with me and my insurance adjuster. My experience was great and stress free. I was able to have transportation for me and my kids while looking for a new car.Big thanks to Claudia and Mel for understanding my situation and working with me to have transportation when I most needed it.

I had to come home and write this review. On November the 20th,my son and I had to come pick up our rental cars. We had such a wonderful encounter with the branch manager Claudia. We had to go back up there today, and had another wonderful experience with Ms. Claudia. She has excellent customer service skills,she has patience, very knowledgeable, and most of all,she's a very sweet spirited lady. What I've noticed,she/that location can use more help. Not once,did Claudia show any frustration,while helping someone else,as well as myself,and my son. Hopefully she's recognized and shown some type of appreciation for her hard work,by enterprise.

Well if you would've asked me 6 months ago what I thought about this Enterprise, I would've said "not much, I've never been there". That has since changed because I've had to rent a vehicle on 3 separate occasions, due to my uncanny ability to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. I am starting to feel that I should drive with a helmet and fire retardant suit on, being involved in 3 accidents (2 of which deemed my car a total loss) is wild and super stressful. The one aspect that went smoothly and better than I expected was my choice in this location for my rentals. The time when my car was being fixed, the mechanic was supposed to take 3 days but ended up taking 30 and my insurance (for reasons I'm now starting to question and should probably look into why that happened) stopped paying despite my car not being ready and I had to continually extend my reservation, they were so understating. They now know me and once again my car is totaled and insurance cuts you off after 5 days of being deemed a total loss (again not sure why considering I'm still paying for insurance when I have no vehicle...really need to call about this) but most of us can't jump up and grab a new car on a whim and I'm forced to pay cash again for my rental. I actually enjoy walking into this location because EVERYONE that works there has the best customer service and treats all customers equal. They've literally seen me anxiety ridden, crying, angry and "normal" (let's be honest, they've seen me be hilarious too) and they always match my energy. If I'm crying, they are empathetic, anxious they are understanding, angry they listen but thru it all they are always welcoming and I greatly appreciate the staff for this!

This place is shady! Got a rental that was already beat to hell and they’re trying to charge me for damages that were already on the vehicle plus they keep taking money out my account after I was already told I would not get my security deposit back. This isn’t the first time I see they do this by reading other reviews and stories online.

They appeared more interested in providing first class service for those who reserved. The representative kept implying that their vehicles inventory were for those who reserved in advanced and that they don't normally have anything avaliable for walk-in. The price they offered for small sized vehicle avaliable was $70/day and that was because it was a "walk-in" price. Normally it would be $50/day. It made me regret going here. I just thanked the representative and decided to go across the street to Hertz instead where they welcomed me and provided first rate service regardless of walk-in or not.
