Nice staff:) It's the local CVS for downtown folks. Due to the area they have locked some products up due to the homeless issues. The staff are friendly though and have good customer service when they get your item for you:) Waiting the little time for a staff member to open the cabinet is nothing compared to having to drive find parking or take public transportation to the other CVS nearby. This one is a convenient location for folks whom live in the downtown area to shop at. Also for tourists whom need some lotion, sunscreen for the summers or regular groceries for traveling:) Keep in mind they stopped selling ice cream a staff member told me it was an item homeless people stole a lot so they discontinued it. Which makes sense. Candy, chips, and some frozen meals they still sell here.

I went to this CVS for the first time yesterday. My experience was excellent. I brought them a prescription to be transferred and filled. Two hours later I was texted that my prescription was ready. Now that's good service! I will be transferring all my prescriptions to this CVS. One other great benefit of this CVS is they have so many convenient things inside the store. I'll be going there today to get some Valentines cards. Their location is very convenient also, It is on the corner of Sunrise and University, which makes it very easy to access. The employees who helped me were very kind and patient. Their prices are reasonable and their hours are good. They open at 7 o'clock in the morning. I'm so glad I tried this store. I recommend you do too!

My recent visit to this pharmacy left me with a rather lackluster impression. While it fits the description of a run-of-the-mill establishment, it's hard to overlook the evident wear and tear, contributing to an overall dilapidated ambiance. The presence of several unhoused individuals at the front entrance added an uncomfortable element to the experience, making it feel somewhat unsafe and unkempt. Navigating through this environment was not only unappealing but also created an atmosphere that left me uneasy. One notable flaw is the choice of carpet as the flooring material, which seems ill-suited for a high-traffic area like a pharmacy. It not only appears worn and stained but also contributes to the general sense of neglect in the space. In conclusion, while the pharmacy may serve its basic purpose, the run-down condition and the unwelcoming atmosphere, exacerbated by the presence of unhoused individuals, make it a less-than-ideal option for those seeking a pleasant and secure shopping experience.

Their new phone message system is a total mess and very frustrating. They used to have a much better system where you could find out if you had any prescriptions to be picked up, within minutes. Now it's 10+ minutes of total frustration without anyone answering.

Long Beach Blvd CVS. Excellent in every way. Friendly, clean, well stocked. Great store!

I went back to my old mom and pop pharmacy 13 miles away rather than deal with the CVS nightmare. It's all computerized. They don't accept if the computer makes an error. They let me run out of a very important medication and when I complained, they just shrugged their shoulders. No customer service, no human interaction or intelligence. I will never go back to this CVS.

Run of the mill pharmacy, but a bit run down with quite a few unhoused people at the front entrance. feels a bit unsafe and unkempt. Carpet is perhaps the wrong choice for flooring.

I don't know if there is a new manager or what but this CVS has really gone downhill. The pharmacy is actually fine (why I gave 2 stars instead of 1), but forget about getting any service with items locked behind aisle cages. You press the button and wait and people don't show up. 5 minutes later you press again and they show up and say "I don't have a key, sorry". You go to the front counter where 3 people are standing around doing nothing and ask for assistance and they all say "sorry we can't help you". After reading all of the reviews that are saying the same thing I will just move my prescriptions to another store.

Why is body lotion, antiperspirant and body wash locked up behind glass now? You guys don't have enough staff to help every customer get everything they want now I still come here for my Rx refill but I go elsewhere for everything else now. It's embarrassing having someone unlock 3-5 cases for you every visit and a huge time waste. Please stop treating customers like they are here to steal your items. It gives a truly bad vibe

Overall even with being a short staffed pharmacy they do their best at getting your prescriptions ready as soon as they can. We have to remember you are not the only patient.

Horrible experience. I had the longest most painful day at the emergency room and needed to pick up my medicated eye drops for a eye injury. They literally handed it to me with zero instructions or things to look for. The drops are very painful (obviously expected but at least warn me) also the placement is important and when I asked for information the pharmacist acted like I was annoying her and actually said "they are eye drops, you put them in your eye" very rude and disrespectful. I had to then google what to expect. Just shitty after a already hard day to then just try to get some info and clarity I was made to feel dumb. Never going here again.

Horrible from start to finish. 1. So overpriced it is offensive. Every item here is more than any other comparable store. I am completely serious. Twice as much sometimes. Think about that. CVS items can cost twice as much as the identical item at Rite Aid, Walgreens, Superior, Target, and many mom and pop 99 cents and up shops that blight the landscape in strip mall USA. But CVS takes the cake. They might as well say stick 'em up, give us all your money, hand over your purse, this is highway robbery from your former opiate crisis pusher love cvs. Corporate Villians Steal. 2. Oh and the line for the pharmacy is, of course, long and the slowest moving. This place is awful, avoid of possible. I am picking up a prescription for handicapped neighbor but I am trying to warn you, CVS robs us blind and no one is saying anything about it!!!!!!
