“HPP Cares took on an overwhelming task in Fall of 2022 with the CalHFA ADU Grants. Although they had to adjust and at times had poor communication or conflicting information, they came through and provided us with all the help and support needed. They took on clients from throughout the state and were able to successfully expand to accommodate. They have adapted well and running a smoother program. Hopefully they can accept new grant funds and clients with the State's additional funding to help more people. Thanks to everyone at HPP Cares!”

“What a good group of people that work here.Two weeks ago I lost my wallet (that was not only designer, but also sentimental) at a restaurant on pine street.When I went back to try and find it, I was informed they did not have it. Some other guests at the restaurant said they saw a homeless person pick up something and walk away from where I had been sitting outside.I knew at that point I’d probably never see my wallet or the contents inside of it again. Well, today I received a call from Sergio, the operations manager with the Long Beach Alliance. One of his team members was out on patrol and found the wallet.They brought it back and was able to locate me through my business card inside. Because of Sergio and his team, I was reunited with my belongings. It means a lot to know that there are good people out there working for the city and making sure the residents are taken care of to the best of their abilities.”

Java the lady who works there has helped me in so many ways and made the process of being a new leader so much smoother. She is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond each time we visit. We can call ahead and pay over the phone and she has everything waiting for us. When we are there in the shop she is friendly and attentive and helpful, my daughter Olivia asks to visit all the time!! They have everything you need in the shop from uniforms to badges to fun patches to curriculums, and more. As well, they have so many cute extras. Jewelry cute clothing, etc etc. please go visit!!! You will not be disappointed.”

“I was introduced to His Nesting Place last year. When I heard and saw all they do for pregnant moms in need, I immediately was relieved. There are the only Christian based maternity that does what they do.I have met moms in dire situations. The policies and guidelines lines are not extreme. The maternity home just celebrated 40 years and they could only have gotten by God’s and the leadership there.I am proud to volunteer at His Nesting Place and I am proud to refer moms in need to His Nesting Place.”

“Very retro and vintage pieces for slightly higher prices. Dresses were what I was looking for and they were $12 a piece but when they were scanned I ended up with 50% off. I went on a Tuesday and was unsure if thats a usual thing or there happened to be a deal that day. Lovely pieces regardless, lots of clothing and furniture inventory. Available fitting rooms as well, but you can only take in 3 items at one time.”
