This CVS is horrible, I asked the clerk about using my rewards card at this store. She told me that the registers were Target based, so when I asked to use my phone number for Target rewards she told me that my meds would't give me any recognition and was very unprofessional about it. I've gotten better service at fast food places

I just wanted to take a moment to and share the experience I had the other night I went to my local CVSAs I was looking for some kids medicine. There were some empty shelves and I couldn't locate the medicine I was looking for.I asked the only person I saw, the cashier for help. She left her position and I cannot even tell you how caring, thorough and helpful she was helping me look for what I needed. Literally on her hands and knees helping me look. . I was in complete awe in the pride she took to help a customer out. Not only did she also not locate what I was looking for but she also recommended the non brand version. Just complete professionalism on her part.CVS, Management, if you read this. Your employee Breanna should be commended and rewarded how she treats her customers. Pure class and professionalism. She really made my day. I only wanted to take a moment to let you know how much it meant. We need more people like her.Thank you!

I love this pharmacy - the people who work here are so kind and helpful. I won't go to another pharmacy chain or location if I can help or because of the exceptional care these people extend. Not just for purchases, but also for my annual flu shot. It's painless the staff are so warm and informative, it makes me feel like I have a health care partnership.

CVS used to be great. Now, I'm being shuffled over to the self checkout line to handle my purchases. No registers open. This has happened for several months. The staff member states it's due to minimum wage etc etc. Why do we need to do it all ourselves?? Is CVS not making enough money? Please explain

This store is HUGE. It is 4 times the size of the Lakewood CVS on South St. There are so many more products and choices in all departments. It is fun to walk down all the aisles. There is something for everyone.

There are three sizes of CVS stores, this is the largest one. Has everything from cookware, bakeware, and food storage, to healthy snack alternatives and kombucha. Has a nice selection of wine and liquor. Always friendly service. Clean aisles. CVS photo quality has gone down at all locations, I shoot on Nikon so there isn't any reason I should be getting blurry prints. Flimsy, cheap photo paper. 5-star location in spite of printer quality.

What a huge store. Bigger than any I've seen in Chicago. From aisle to aisle you'll find what you want easily. Facility gives you that this use to be a shelter feel. Lol

MALCOM, in the pharmacy, is consistently rude. I initially thought it was a one off until it happened again and again. Then it happened with my insurance company on the phone and he knows the line is recorded which signifies a lack of concern with any consequence to his challenging behavior. He responds to customers, assuming they are going to argue or in a condescending manner. I've witnessed him do it others in store and now I see some people have felt compelled enough to write about it here in the comments. It appears they're careful to identify him as the only black male who works in the pharmacy, but that's who it is and his ATTITUDE makes inquiring about his name an intimidating idea. My best wish for anyone is for your provider/insurance do what they're supposed to do the first time and that you never need to ask any questions. I'm transferring my business to another pharmacy, I'm sure Malcom couldn't care less and neither could a corporate giant like CVS. To Malcom, why do you work in pharmacy? Is it just for the money or do you actually care? If you've had a poor experience with one customer, it was just one customer. If you've had a negative experience with multiple, perhaps it's you. Most people do not wish to have medical needs that require a regular pharmacy visit, just like most wish to never need a pharmacy at all. You never know the mental or physical state of people and extending people a little grace, doesn't seem too much to ask.

Maybe the worst pharmacy in the city of Long Beach. The employees in the front of the store are actually very helpful and pleasant. The pharmacy employees are consistently rude, disinterested, or annoyed and occasionally ridiculous. I had one of the employees scold me for filling a prescription too early when it was the pharmacist who offered to fill it when she saw me. Rude employee told me that my prescription was a narcotic and I shouldn't get it filled a day early. Worst of all, three other customers heard him scolding me and treating me as if I were a drug addict. I THOUGHT THERE WERE LAWS ABOUT PATIENT PRIVACY. I immediately transferred my prescriptions across the street to Walgreen's. It was an amazing change where the pharmacists and employees are kind and helpful. When I pick up my monthly prescriptions, they greet me and know me by my name. Wonderful customer service at Walgreen's--consistently.

Worst. Call no one answers. Arrive there and wait 20 min before anyone even comes to register. Just over all not helpful or any sense of customer service. It's no surprise they have the Yelp stars they do. Find another cvs, not worth the headache.

This pharmacy is the absolute WORST! There is a pharmacy technician in specific, African American male, who is RUDE! I have encountered him twice, once in person and once on the phone. He talks over you, seeks arguments, and is just plain unprofessional. In addition, the pharmacy staff drags their feet and has little conversations on the side, all while there is a big line of customers waiting. The experience here was Absolutely ridiculous!
