If I could give a negative five star I would Citi bank it's supposed to be a legit institution that can be trusted and helps it's customers but all they are is greedy bankers who don't care about the average person. After banking so many years with them and being a loyal customer and doing everything correctly they just send me a letter saying your account has been terminated no reason no explanation just we don't want you any more you have one month to close your account and finalize your transactions. This is the treatment you will get if you are a customer of Citi bank. I tried to call them to find out why, what was the problem, sorry we can't help you and that's that. I go to my branch this branch and same thing I am sorry I don't know why but if they made a decision then sorry there is nothing we can do. That is the way you are treated!

Not this particular branch, but Citibank in general. Tried 4 times this morning to log into my account. Seems they TOOK a SECOND $2,000.00. payment about a week after I MADE a $2,000.00 payment. Can't log on, can 'chat', can't get any answers. Tried 4 tie to log on, enter ID and password, get to phone call/text message verification, click on the number I want message sent to, get message, return to website and have to log on AGAIN because "You have been logged off due to inactivity." I'm now wondering how many other people have my log on creds, and will I ever see my $2K again. Since I've retired I don't spend that much on this card in a year.

So I walk in the building for my 130 appointment I was treated nicely by the greeters the behind the counter who directed me to Rosa Wallace who was a rude rep . She's an older woman and she may need more training she seen was rude rolling her eyes her neck and at the end I asked her was she done she didn't even give my my social and ID it was behind the glass I had to reach under the glass to get my social and ID which I feel like if she was done she could of just passed it back to me. Like I said all attitude put her in the back or give her some more training because that's very unprofessional and the number I asked her for she gave it to me off the card on her desk . It wasn't the number I asked for which was online services so I had to call 3 different number just to get to the correct person ! Very frustrating. Also ! She was the one I spoke with that made the appointment for me to come into the bank !

At least they are consistent. Lack of follow up, lack of staff, lack in customer service. Sad.

It's SHITY Bank, not citibank. They closed my wife's account for no reason whatsoever and sent notice 7 days AFTER they closed the account. Good thing she cashed out the balance before they held her hard earned money hostage. Did same thing to me, pieces of **** held my money hostage for weeks. Stay away from this piece of crap bank, they only seek to take poor foreign students as clients so they can milk them with their ridiculous APR's. Moved all my business to Chase and SO HAPPY about it.

horrible service during this pandemic, after my original branch was closed in Long Beach on Ocean Boulevard I was rerouted to go to this one. I needed to take out money from my unemployment which is over the withdrawal limit through ATM and deposit to my Citibank account so i needed to see a teller and use it through the visa advance system. When I tried to open the door it was locked and some lady with long white and black hair Barely opens the door ( understandable under the circumstances i was wearing mine too) asks me what sort of transaction i needed to do and I tried to tell her and she denied my entry into the branch and told me to use the atm in a very rude manner. I was so irritated after driving all the way up there after being told i was going to be able to get helped there.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO ANOTHER BRANCH No surprise this bank only has 2 stars. After giving the branch manager some feedback on how poorly this branch is run she CLOSED my account. She did not have my consent to do so and all this during the PANDEMIC! So I had to leave my home,go to chase to open a new bank account so that I could pay all my bills on time. Bad customer service doesn't even begin to describe this branch they really just don't care about their customers. Going to chase really opened my eyes after being with CITI for 10+ years. Their operation during this pandemic was amazing really keeping their customers safe which was not the case at this Citi branch. Their customer service was amazing even in these trying times so I guess she did me a favor closing my account. Save yourself the bad experience and go to the branch in Lakewood, Cerritos, or Downey. Those branches were the only thing keeping me at Citibank,I was able to see the Bixby branch was the issue not Citibank.

Citibank is only offering its homeowners during this coronavirus outbreak a FORBEARANCE plan! That was available BEFORE coronavirus! It requires full payback in the near future after the plan ends which is about 3 months! BUT Bank of America is allowing its home owners to put THREE MONTHS to the END of their loan!! AWESOME BANK OF AMERICA!! KUDOS TO YOU!! SHAME ON YOU CITIBANK!!

This is one of the most unsafe ATM stops ever! The ATMs are located right on the corner where anyone walking by can get right up next to you. Not to mention that your balance is displayed right on the screen in super big numbers where anyone looking over your shoulder can see! No security guards in sight. Definitely not safe and do not come here unless you absolutely have to!

Jacquelin Cabello is literally no help. Whenever i come to grab change or make a transaction with her she takes at least 20 minutes. She does things differently from all the other tellers. Maybe she needs more training but she makes every experience her dreadful.

I opened a cerificate of deposit years ago which will expire in October 2019. It rolled and what was fabulous interest is now less than marginal, however, which is my fault, but probably exacerbated by the fact they do not offer any automated messaging to communicate when an CD matures. And, if you do not have a checking and savings with them, as in they are making $15 a month in service fees from you, you are toast. Now I get correspondence in the mail from Citi that I have a dormant account which will become inactive and will go to the state. It is a CD which does not expire for another 9 months so I cannot have activity on it. I called and called and get routed to a call center which cannot help me. I drove to the branch office and they closed early for Christmas eve, I appreciate that people want Christmas Eve off, but people, communicate that before someone makes a drive. The call center did not mention the shortened branch hours. Second drive in there today and hope I get it fixed.

Very poor service. Branch manager Gina Nainggolan lies to us saying that they do not verify ID information at the bank branch. After explaining to her that I had to go into another citi bank to unblock my account with ID. She then got really upset and told me she will not argue with me about this issue and that we should leave. I guess when you get caught up in a lie it best to change the subject.

It's impossible to get through the phone lines for this branch. I've been calling for three days straight and I think I have them on my phone's history listed 20+ times. I was trying to speak to a banker about making an appointment to open up an account since they are the closest location to me. They literally just ignore your call and send you to an automated system that only caters to existing clients. The two times that I have been able to get through to the branch, I've left messages about possibly having an appointment on a Saturday. I get it, we can't always get to our phones (I work a 9-5 job also), but I have been playing phone tap with Domenica Sandoval, and for all the voice messages she's left me not once has she addressed the messages I've left for her. I think her voicemails would have solved my issue if she would have just been able to confirm if my requested appointment time was available or not. Anyway, I ended up taking my business to the Downey branch, and I was able to confirm an appointment within one phone call and two phone rings. I thought I'd be disappointed having to drive further out, but now I have peace of mind that at least someone will pick up the phone if I have questions about my account.
