“Great shop, glad I happened upon it, though that wasn’t a coincidence I’m sure. Rhapsody makes tons of oils and incense. Her and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and can help you with all of your metaphysical needs. I knew the name of her shop from previous Google searches but hadn’t made it in as I was on the other side of Long Beach at the time. Ended up in the same center and recognized the name and checked it out. They can answer any questions you have and have oils, incense, crystals, tools, books and much more to fit your needs. Also hold classes to sign up for!”

“As soon as you cross the threshold, you're met with the wonderful smell of ink on paper. Plenty of seating, to sit down and browse. Wide aisles that you can stand in or kneel and check the shelves out. And if you're feeling up to it, do a little impulse shopping for some really interesting gifts, journals, pens and more for yourself or someone else. Conclude your visit with a coffee and a pastry whilst leafing through your purchases.”
“The selection of many different items is wonderful. The owners & staff are very helpful and kind. I found everything I wanted, and I'm fairly sure if they don't have what you want, they will order it for you. The store is small but the arrangement is good and the store is clean. I enjoyed my visit there and will be going back, thank you!”

“Used books and collectibles here. I found one of my most prized books here. An Aorcraft yearbook for 1929. I also bought a 1958 owners glovebox manual for a Corvette. A great place to shop and there is a large antique mall next door.”

“We recently visited Alabadle store, and were very impressed by the variety of books, CD's, gifts and other items so appropriate and beautiful for the home or gift giving. The customer service lady who was there at the time of our visit was very kind, friendly and helpful with our needs. The store is clean, ample and no one is rushing you to buy anything. We did buy a lovely item and will definitely go back soon, as Christmas is going to be here sooner than we expect, and the gift variety here is truly awesome. “I love shades of Africa, from the atmosphere to Ms. Renee being so welcoming. The products are amazing. Most stores if not all when you go in to purchase items such as hair products or skin products they can only be used for those specific things. With the many handmade products at Shades of Africa there may be a description such as hair oil or body wash but they can be used all over and I love that. You get quality products! I pick up products in stores and wonder why all of those harmful ingredients are needed to make things as simple as lotion or body wash, it’s not necessary. I can shop here and not have to worry about about any cancer causing chemicals or harsh dyes. You’re also helping out many small black owned businesses even some from other countries such as Kenya. I get majority of my skin, body, and hair care products and will continue to do so. I love being able to support small black owned businesses and I’m grateful to have found a store that sells amazing natural products.”
“This is the campus bookstore for LBCc. It has a wide variety of school supplies, snacks and of course books. The customer service is great and if they do not have the item you need the store will order it or give you another option on how to get the item you are looking for.”
