I needed soccer shoes for tomorrow. Gavin showed me three brands. He told me the benefits of each pair. The experience was easy and quick. The store is well stocked with good sporting merchandise.

Was sold the wrong .22 ammo , ammo sales rep wasn't available for 3 days , came in today for them to tell me its final sale. And I would have to call customer service . Wish they would've told me that over the phone. I wouldn't recommend going here for any ammo very unprofessional , and not knowledgeable.The Latina girl who helped me asked me for my debit card and ID, which there was no need for that when you denied return without looking in the computer makes no sense . Very rude and poor service . I will take my business elsewhere hope this saves you yelpers a trip!

I’ve bought shoes here twice and I don’t know if it’s the brand of shoe I’m buying or if the salesman gives me a reject pair but both times after I get home and wear them I find a defect in the shoe. I’ve bought New Balance shoes for years and never had this problem but I never bought them at Big 5.

Went in Sept 25th to buy some 9mm. Young, dumb, (latina?) manager couldn't have been more unhelpful, unfriendly, racist (I'm older white male), hostile, with a "take it or leave it attitude". I told her I didn't like her attitude and left....went to Turner's where I bought $400 worth. Won't be going back to this store, and judging by the lack of (paying) customers when I was there, I'm not the only one. Hopefully Corporate will see this and try and get their hiring standards up a bit

I went to this store for the first time today and Jasmine helped me out looking for a new pair of goggles and she was sooo helpful and sweet when I was in a rush, I have never received such great customer service, thank you so much jasmine Gabby

Pretty OK customer service, however an employee named Jay was very rude to us. Answered very rudely when asked for assistance for some shoes.

If I could give double negative zero stars I would. Came into this location at 10am, hardly anyone was in the store. First store associate ignored me and that mean's didn't even acknowledge that I had even walked in. Second store associate walked past me and again never asked me what I needed. Might as well been a haunted house. I will NEVER visit this business again. You let an easy sale slip past your lazy fingers. Shame.

Terrible work ethic and customer service. My daughter and I walked in about 6:15pm and there were 3 associates at the register having a grand old conversation, not one person greeted us or welcomed us into the store. The only person who was actually helpful was James and he was in the back of the store. Do better at training your employees. It’s very bad taste to be standing around at the front of the store having personal conversations and not even have the decency to speak to customers walking in.

Great spot for all sporting goods and you can't beat the deals. They deserve your business because they earn it, and we don't have many options anymore. It beats going through Amazon for a lot of stuff.

Best Big 5 store I’ve ever been to. Workers are so helpful and kind; they really help you on what you’re looking for. Their attitudes toward clients is amazing. Store is always fully stocked, I always find what I’m looking for. Amazing place.
