To be fair, I was there for an event. I have never stayed there. Vendors were set up in the lobby, which is too small for the number of vendors there. I fell off the step & a vendor told me they asked that the steps be marked in some way. All the hotel did was put a strip of masking tape which just blended into the floral carpet. I twisted my ankle trying to keep from falling completely down.

The worst room I've ever stayed in.Carpet in he room is literally sticky, with various stains.There is a small couch in the room that looks like it's been in the trash for a few months then placed back in the room.One pillow has blood stains on it.Everything else looks old and runned down.I don't understand how this place is still in business.

The room a little cold. The cold wind from outside filtered into the room. The bed very comfortable. Good amenities and shower. The room in general was quite spacious and comfortable. Good value for money.

Rather divey and far from the rest of the city, but it served its purpose for me: crash pad after a concert next door. For the price paid it was a reasonable place to stay.Could do with a bit of renovation but the bed was comfortable, room clean, and the shower had great pressure, so my requirements for a post-concert crash pad were met.Walkability: NOT AT ALL.

Check in was fine. Took a little bit but not bad. The staff was kind and showed me where I could park and where my room was. When we opened the door a large cockroach scurried out of sight. We chased it out and then inspected the room pretty thoroughly. No other bugs (I did look in the sheets for bed bugs). The room had an old smell, the carpet has seen better days and there was some odd things about the layout. Overall it was clean, the tub was huge and the bed comfortable. After I took a bath, the tub drained insanely slowly and that kinda grossed me out. For the price I paid, it was fine for one night. It was quiet enough and no huge problems. However that bug was enough to keep me from coming back.

Clean room, courteous staff able to park just outside my room door.Rooms: Room opened out to the hotel garden; outside chairs provided to sit outside.Safety: As a senior I felt safe at this establishment.Walkability: I had requested 1st Floor room as I use a cane to assist in my mobility.

Paper thin walls, showers will randomly blast cold water, TV sounds like Charlie Brown (unusable), elevator broken

L&l the room is big bed was great I my only disappointment was I really wanted to use the hot tub seen people at the pool when I checked in but they failed to tell me the hot tub doesn't work that was very disappointing

One star for service because of some obscure rule that they have about housekeeping. The second day we put the Do Not disturb sign out since we really didn't use enough supplies to warrant a refresh. The third day we come back to our room to get ready for a wedding and housekeeping was working the next door room. I asked if they could skip our room and come back in an hour after we leave and they said I needed to arrange the room refresh 24 hours in advance. What??? The fourth day our room wasn't refreshed because they said we cancelled it the day before, which we didn't. Just poor management all around. So much for customer service and making sure their guests have a nice stay.

I came to this hotel for a convention. The rooms we used to meet in were fine though a bit run down. It looked like there was recent water damage and one area was closed off.For what this hotel is, it is fine. The rooms were clean and spacious for the most part. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had a full bar and wonderful bartenders working. I will be returning next year.

Definitely a budget choice.Rooms: Spacious but dumpy. Toilet was crooked and flushed slowly. Sink water didn’t flow well. AC/fan unit and mini fridge were loud.Walkability: Not walkable to much of anything. It’s just on the end of a bridge and there’s not a sidewalk to allow you to access things on foot.

The staff are some of the nicest and most understanding people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I arrived at the Golden Sails after flying for 15 hours, I booked a room on the spot. They were so compassionate and worked to find space for me. They offered me water and snacks while I waited and even upgraded my room so that I would be more comfortable. I felt very well taken care of and the room itself was very spacious and clean. I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend others stay here as well.
