All I can say-avoid at all costs (no pun intended since he almost cost us 30,000 on our 2021 tax return). 2021 tax return pretty straight forward. Only non-routine (which actually seems pretty routine to me) was the sale of our condo which we had lived in for 3 of the 5 previous years. As such, we are protected partially from capital gains tax (just took a quick google to know this). He filed for us and said we owed 40,000 dollars. I asked to meet with him to review our return. He had hadn't factored in that we were residents of the condo for a large portion of the previous 5 years-which we had spoken about at length and partially the reason we decided to sell our condo when we did, He said he didn't think that pertained to us? I asked him to look into it and he emailed 5 minutes later saying that yes I was right. Our tax bill dropped to 7,000. no apologies and surprised when I asked for a discount on our fee. just no words for this--almost cost us 30,000 dollars. Nice guy but utterly incompetent.

Have been having issues with my taxes for the past few years. After my consultation with Mark, he was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to assist me with filing quickly while also providing me with great information to maximize my taxes for next year. Will definitely come back!

After consulting with various potential tax preparers, I decided to go with Mark based on our initial conversation and the quote he provided me. He mentioned that I would be most likely utilizing the standard deductions since my taxes sound uncomplicated. He certainly lead me to believe my tax preparation would be in a certain ball park range. Unfortunately, after I decided to work with him, he failed to communicate with me how my taxes were coming along ( I had to constantly email him for updates) and especially failed to clarify that he will be itemizing deductions for me, which incurs a much greater fee than what he initially quoted. After I received his invoice, I sent him a follow up email. He stated in my follow up email that my charge was based on various other factors. At no point during our initial conversation or along the way, did he advise these other factors will change my ball park range in fees. In addition, he concluded by telling me I can schedule a call with him for further questions. Again, he failed to tell me that there is another $300/hr consultation fee for questions on my tax return! I had to ask him if he will be charging me for this call. As my tax preparer who will be receiving a fee, a few additional questions seems customary. As my tax preparer whom I am already paying a fee, I am entitled to understand the explanations. I completely feel bait and switched by him. I am completely unhappy with his service and business approach. He lacked communication with me and nickels and dimes for everything. Beware. Mark was great! Quick, professional, very knowledgeable and helpful in getting my best refund. Kept me in the loop the whole time since we did it over the phone/emails. Grateful for the military discount! Definitely will come back next year.

I was referred to Christopher last year and had him help me with my taxes because I was not happy with my previous tax guy. I had two 1099 and a W2. Wow I was amazed with Christopher! He was very fast and professional and he made it super easy for me. I will be going back to him sometimes this month!

Bookkeeping is one of those dreaded things that most businesses hate to do. I'm no different. Thankfully these guys know exactly what they're doing and give me what I need. They're also super flexible. I'm super disorganized, but they were really patient with my situation. Love these guys!
