An interesting market to check out if one is intrigued by, or curious about, Cambodian culture. In addition to Cambodian and other Asian/Southeast Asian grocery items, they also carry an assortment of Cambodian handicrafts and some decorative/Buddhism-related items. There are other Asian markets in Long Beach's Cambodia Town that are larger and better stocked, with the expected variety of produce, meat, poultry and fish, so Bayon Market would not be the desired destination to stock up on ingredients for a week of Asian home cooking, but it warrants checking out if you're in the area. The staff were a bit standoff-ish, but lightened up when I told them that I had visited Cambodia. I came here looking for Angkor Beer, something I had taken a liking to while over there. Though they were out of that, they did have Beer Lao and large bottles of Myanmar Beer, of which I ended up buying a few bottles.
