Contacted the these people around late 2022 for an eviction case, was told to agree on getting 12k and having the eviction dropped with receiving half of it “in a timely manner” by the 7th of March, its the 18th and no sign of anything, no calls no emails no nothing and I am supposed to move out by april 7th? Not only that but the last time we have been in contact with them, they have raised their voice and yelled over me on the phone, what kind of law firm does that when im just asking for an update on the case? Seriously unprofessional. If I’m not told anything else on the case I believe there will be a bigger issue on their hands. This is not okay!

I'm so grateful for the help I received from BASTA. I was so overwhelmed with my whole situation. They lifted all that pressure from me. The workshops they have are very informative and you could feel the eagerness of them really trying to help you. Matthis Chiroux was exceptional and very caring. He understood my situation and was very empathetic. I could not thank him enough! Thank you BASTA for all your hard work and dedication.

Staff is extremely short and unhelpful. Unless you have 3,000 to pay up front don’t bother talking to them, because you will leave with a knot in your stomach and wanting to scream!!!! This is not a place to go if you are going through financial hardship.

Mike Iseri is brilliant. They eased my mind. Are super knowledgeable, compassionate and empathetic. I’m approaching my inevitable unlawful eviction with confidence. They know their stuff and I really felt like I was heard and understood and it was a brilliant and informative consultation that they went above and beyond to put me at ease. Excellent. I have nothing but praise and look forward to working with BASTA through my difficult time. If possible I am 1000% retaining them. The best of the best. A legend modern Einstein.

The office staff were efficient and no-nonsense. The attorney, Matthis Chiroux, is quite a marvel! I was facing an unlawful detainer against a brand new landlord who was intent upon clearing the old tenants with lower rents out of the building. So many details; it wasn't pretty nor pleasant and I was being railroaded. Matthis absorbed my information and quickly became conversant in my story, leading up to a satisfying victory in court. He's smart, I might even say cunning, certainly savvy, and he knows how to handle these cases.

For the past 4 months my landlord has been giving me hell I received a summons to attend court on 03/08/22 to attend court on 03/14/22, I was so stressed and didn't know what to do I thought I was going to be homeless I reached out to stayhouse la and they referred me to Basta in Long Beach with not much time Mario made sure he took care of us, we showed up to court today Monday 03/14/22 and our attorney Matthis Chiroux was there to represent us. Honestly he was the best for the first time in months I finally felt a relief! He made sure he fought for us he made us feel safe! Thank you Mario, Matthis and Basta From the Gonzalez family

Thank you to Veronica, Matthis and Mario for helping me when I was afraid of being homeless. I was in a situation with a roommate landlord and found out the hard way that it was not a friendly environment. Basta INC helped me avoid eviction AND get relocation fees that helped with my move.
