Teacher is way too mean and authoritarian to teach preschoolers. My 4 yo son came out sobbing from class. He has attended many classes but this is a first! I saw zero compassion in her, which was most troubling, despite whatever my son may have done (didn't pass a toy to another kid that asked for it, oh boy, what a crime!!), a teacher should always try to feel compassion for the little kids. I can't believe I entrusted my little child to them , thinking all is well, then come back to my son sobbing telling me he doesn't want to go back. He is no obedient angel but there are alternative ways to handle the situation besides angry reprimands "he has to listen!" and grabbing the toy from his hands. Yikes.

This place is an amazing place to send your child.I went here growing up and it was truly a gift from God to be sent here. All of the staff here truly care so much about all of the students they help and they all of an invested interest in the students.They are all so incredibly kind and helpful.They have affordable prices for your child.They are the reason I got through school.I highly recommend

Miss Barbara is great, my kid loves her reading circle classes and she has really progressed with her comprehension and reading skills. It's affordable and Barbara communicates well with what my child needs.

My son has been struggling with math. I decided to try back to basics and I'm very glad I did. My son has only been here for two weeks and I've noticed he is gaining confidence he didn't have. He is finally getting math! He said Barbara explains it in a way he understands. She teaches it better than his teacher. He's actually excited and told me he likes going to back to basics. This is huge for my kid to say. I'm looking forward to his continued growth and understanding in math concepts. Thank you back to basics! My son works with two tutors (I can't remember the other lady's name) she's great too. She also is a pleasure to work with. Great tutors here! Can't thank you two enough.

my son (age 5) had a real problem with his hand writing, and to be perfectly honest i had a bit of a problem with that as well when i was a little boy. so i knew that i needed help from a professional. my first inkling was to get a one on one tutor at home, but I found out that one-of my son's problems is a lack of attention. A home tutor will exacerbate the problem, theres way to much distractions for my son, his room is full if toys his younger brother if he see his older brother will inevitably find ways to rip his attention away from his learning. The answer to the problem is that he needs an environment indicative to learning, some place similar yo his classes but a but different. a different environment filled with kids concentrating on learning. By having the setting change and faces of his teachers change he will not feel the study fatigue. So I knew what I was looking for I just need to find a place that had a good reputation. By doing extensive research I found back to basics. how many years of experience and they had glowing recommendations from other parents. in the short time my son's been going there is in measurable where are to miss Nicole I miss B. please consider them for your tutoring needs.

I love tutoring at this company! They are very organized, personable, and really care about helping kids to recoup their learning skills lost during Covid 19. They advocate for Socioemotional learning, which is so important during these crazy times! The owner and management team care about both their teachers and students in their care. Back to Basics Learning Programs is such a great place for kids of all ages to learn! Every child deserves the best education and these two ladies have created a tutoring center that provides just that. This place is warm and welcoming and provides both group and individual sessions. From math to science to reading and writing your child can get exactly what they need. I love this place!!!
