Horrible this is the 3rd time I Go to Avis Long Beach and had to deal with the rudeness of Frederick, he always claims they have no cars available but the lot is full always tries to give you a run down car. Mr. Frederick always has a nasty attitude the way he talks to the customers is like he hates his job and does not want to be there I wish I could say something positive but is the 3rd time I had to deal with his rudeness and diva attitude.

Update on below. Avis responded and resolved the issues. Everyone makes mistakes (companies too) and if they fix them, i'm ok with it. They did.Avis is terrible. Didn't have the car i reserved. Wouldn't give me refund for lesser car. charged me for fuel AFTER i had just filled it up before dropping off. Literally got the fuel surcharge on my e-receipt 1 minute after dropping car off. They didin't even check it!Automatically charged it to make more money i guess....

Needed for the vehicle to be more clean and smell to be better! I also believer that Car rental should always clean the HVAC cabin filter for the next person

Stella is truly just a perfect human you cannot tell me otherwise. When things did not go to plan she was quick to do everything she could to make the situation better than it could have been had it gone right! I will not forget her kindness and as a manager for several companies over the year she handled my little melt down with compassion and made my trip back home for my 32nd birthday the best homecoming ever! Give this woman a raise!

Stella was an amazing help! We were having a rough morning getting a rental car and Stella was able to help out with our accomodations and get us out in record time! Definitely coming back to her location if I need help with another rental car!

I will never go anywhere else AGAIN!!! By far the most catered car rental experience I’ve ever had. Stella is the absolute BEST! She takes care of her customers and goes over and beyond to make sure you are 200% satisfied. I was sent to the Avis on Ocean blvd and the man at the counter was so rude and could care less about helping me out. After almost giving up on getting into a rental I came into the Long Beach Blvd location and was blown away on how much we were served. I will never go anywhere else. If you want to be treated with genuine kindness and A+++ customer service then go see Stella and the rest of her friendly staff at Avis located at 2165 Long Beach Blvd.

Did a extended rental for to use the vehicle for UBER and the first vehicle was obviously a vehicle they would no longer rent to the general public and to top it off it was flea infested. So, I got another vehicle and they told me I could change how they were going to charge me. I changed from credit card to debit card after a week or two on the AVIS app as I was told and they charged my credit card anyways and it went over the limit. Who has enough credit to have $350 a week charged to their credit card? To their credit they did begin to use the debit card (I wonder why). But when I finally returned the vehicle they charged me for another week. And didn't return my two hundred dollar deposit.

I scheduled to pick up a car at Long Beach airport at 9:00am on Friday, June 16th. We were frustrated that we had to wait an hour and a half for a car to become available despite having a reservation. We waited patiently, however, and when our car was ready we proceeded to it. When we were getting the car, the manager Bergani said "can I help you?" in a very hostile and accusatory tone. I explained that I was just getting into the car that I rented and he aggressively stated "well why did you park it there?" I told him I did not park it there. This is where avis parked it. He walked away then came back and stared at us for a while while we got settled in the car. We eventually rolled down the window because he started angrily waving at us. When we rolled down the window he yelled at us to move out of his way so he could pull another car up into the parking spot that we were in. Note, we were in a parking spot, not the road. And he had space to back the other car out another way. He did not ask us kindly, but instead accosted us the entire time. When we told him we were still sitting here because we were setting up the navigation system, he again aggressively told us to move and kept yelling at us until we rolled up the window and stopped responding to him. This is unacceptable behavior especially from a manager.

This is the worst rental car location ever. The workers are dishonest and very unprofessional. I would avoid this location for sure.

Fred is the absolute worst employee....no wonder everyone always asks for Stella! Asking him a simple question about HIS job was like pulling teeth, with an attitude.

Awesome and friendly service from everybody here — Stella went above and beyond to help me get a rental since my flight was delayed to Chicago. Fred and Seth were both great and very helpful. I’d highly recommend renting from these folks!

The people who work here go out of their way to make it a relatively easy experience. Renting a car is never easy, there is a lot of process, of course, but these people do try. We got three cars from them of the course of the month. all were in good shape, clean and dependable.
