I frequented this location a lot in my 20s. Cheap gas was the main reason. But, also my friend and I purchased the refillable bottles. We would fill up with soda and then lay in the sun. I never had any issues. My dad drove by one day and there was a man completely naked screaming violently!!! With the homeless crisis that could happen anywhere. But, if I was pumping gas at the time I would of been terrified. That's why I prefer costco. There is an attendant monitoring at all times and one way out. I still will come here mostly for a snack on my way somewhere.

I was in the area and stopped in for my weekly lottery scratcher tickets. Store is very small and the area seemed rather sketchy. Cashier was very nice and efficient though, was in and out in a matter of a couple minutes.

I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 20 years and came to this location this morning for the first time since high school because I was on my morning walk and was craving a hot dog. I walked inside with a 16 oz Red Bull in hand; none of the employees greeted or even acknowledged me. I looked around momentarily, realized they didn't sell hot items anymore, and then I left. I was headed towards the KFC across the street until I was shouted at and embarrassed by a short blonde woman employee all the way from the crosswalk. She accused me of stealing the Red Bull I had walked into the store with, paid for at the Ruby's Liquor behind this AM/PM where the customer service is much better. I headed back inside and insisted that she checked the cameras and she immediately backtracked her statement and blamed her suspicion on a curly red-headed woman that was behind the counter (who wasn't even behind the counter when I walked in, no one was). When I walked back inside, I insisted that that woman behind the counter check the cameras too, and she backtracked her statement as well. No harm, no foul? Not really...this is the biggest insult I've received in a while and is indicative of how they might treat other patrons of my complexion, a lot of which are children from the local elementary, middle, and high schools that might not know how to defend themselves against these types of prejudiced accusations. This neighborhood has really gone downhill these last few years and the employees at this AM/PM are a prime example. There's a 76 station directly across the street from them if your car is on E.

This is the cheapest gas station in the area. It's always at least ten cents cheaper than other stations in the area. And there aren't a bunch of bums hanging around. Plus it feels safe because there is a dispensary next door with an armed guard. I drive out of my usual route just to come here whenever I need to fill up my tank

This store is clean nice with polite staff and always well stocked. It’s my go to store when I don’t need or want to deal with a grocery store and avoid 7-11 where you stand forever until their clerk decides to help you. Here they drop whatever they’re doing the second you walk through the door.

I live in Lakewood so whenever I had to work I always stop here for red bull beer and/or gas, I'm always in-and-out there's never a long wait and plus the customer service here is more than exceptional even when I'm in a shitty mood. And over the year the people who work here have become more than just clerk's, they have become my friends

My favorite gas station when I'm in the 562 area. The gas is cheaper than most. The clerks are the nicest, friendliest and most helpful. They always smile and thank me. Once I had issues with my air nozzle on my tire when I was pumping air. Don helped me. I offered him a tip afterwards and he didn't take it. He was so helpful with a positive attitude and courteousness - a rarity nowadays. I come here loyally and will continue to do so.

Limited stock on Steel reserve 211 24 oz cans! Every time I drink here they run out. This has happened several times. Limited stock on food and its usually not fresh. I recommend not eating here.

Best Arco I have ever been to. I visit this place often to get snacks and gas. Very clean establishment and the employees are extremely friendly. Jeff was such a outstanding employee and did above and beyond the normal duties of a normal cashier. All the extra work and effort he puts in he should get an immediate raise at the very least. Employee of the Year for Arco. Thanks Jeff Sutton you make my gas purchasing expirenece more enjoyable than any other gas station in CA.
