Oh, what's not to like about the Alpert JCC. The pool and lifeguards make an afternoon magical. The facilities are clean and a sense of peace and calm happens when I enter. Thanks Alpert JCC for being the good part of my life and keeping me connected to others.

Their summer camps are great for teenagers. They have a computer room. Good basketball courts. And also a pool.

Thank you for the free quilt display! I wish all centers had these hours-6am! I could not figure out the parking thank goodness there was no attendant

I use only the pool and gym. Love it. Reasonably priced memberships. Facilities are pretty well maintained and everyone is friendly.

I love the JCC. The gym is really nice. The JCC has many events for different ages. I'm glad to be a member of the JCC.

Pros It's a nice compound, lots of gym equipment and they have a nice pool.ConsRude customer service, the receptionist (older lady with sal/pepper hair) was very rude and demanding. I was invited a guest but after her treatment I am glad I'm not part of their center.

We cannot say enough good things about the ece program at JCC. Our son loves going to school, and has just blossomed as a tiny human. His teacher (ms mott) is such a blessing, and cares for each child as her own. We LOVE her!! From his speech and motor skills, all the way to developing life-long friendships. An added bonus for us parents, is the aspect of community and connecting with other families in the area. We look forward to events, all school Shabbat, etc, bc we have formed such great ties to other parents and their children. Really just can't say enough good things. Very appreciative our son landed a spot in this program.

This place doesn’t understand the Americans with Disabilities Act. They declined to accommodate my disabling condition. So I’m going elsewhere rather than suing them.

I took my daughter here for swim lessons. The people in charge, Cecelia and Ignacio, are extremely difficult to reach and never return call backs. I've been trying to reschedule 3 makeup sessions and it's like pulling teeth. I get one answer from the instructor, and 2 different ones from both Ignacio and Cecelia. They are very unorganized. The first session was missed bc no one was even aware that her classes started that day. While her instructor was great at teaching my daughter, she will no longer be teaching there after this summer. This place came highly recommended but for scheduling alone, I'd go elsewhere.

We love the JCC! We started there with the baby class when our son was about 6 months old. As new parents we were overwhelmed but bonded with other families that we're still involved with today. He is now 3 and words cannot express how much he loves going to preschool everyday. He talks about his friends and teachers every evening. Our daughter is 1 and just graduated from Jbaby and has started Yad B'yad. She has so much fun exploring the classroom and getting familiar with her future school. We are so grateful to be part of a community that supports our children...and us!"

We've been a part of the ECE family for about 3 years. From the Y'ad B Y'ad class to preschool; the environment is warm and loving and all the teachers and staff that we have come across are personable and great. My daughter always comes home happy and she is engaging in fun, creative play based activities while still learning new concepts. We appreciate all that the staff has done to ensure the facility is safe and they have gone above and beyond with the precautions that they have taken due to the pandemic. The facilities and classrooms are clean, large, and open & we especially love the fully equipped outdoor playground. My daughter also enjoys the various enrichments offered from dance to art to gymnastics. We are excited to have my younger daughter start at the school soon as well. Thank you to the teachers and staff for all that you do to make it an enriching and fun environment for the children and giving a sense of community to the parents as well through the school fundraisers, events and more.

Both of my kids attended the JCC for preschool, summer camps and after school program and it was a wonderful experience. The environment that the JCC created was an essential building block to to their continued education and development. Emily Gould joining the JCC to manage the ECE and other programs made all the difference. Throughout COVID the communication and coordination that went into ensuring the safety and well being of my kids was unprecedented. Our family was lucky to have both of our kids in such a caring and nurturing environment.

We're a Jewish family with two young kids. More than anything I wanted my kids in the JCC ECE until first grade. My first child attended Yad B Yad and then preschool for a year. His teacher was passive aggressive. The ECE director, Emily Gould, was hostile and only cared about opening more classrooms for more income. She's a sales person - she has no business being the director of a private preschool. Worse, the interim director of the JCC also didn't want to do anything for us families. Three of us left from the preschool and the Admin couldn't give a damn. So anti-community, I can't in good conscious give them more money - or send my children there. (Some teachers are great, Ms Erika, Ms Mott; but you have to be either lucky to get a great teacher, or Emily has to like you.)

My husband, Ranzie, is mentally disabled. I originally wrote an RSVP for him to the ALPERT JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER for their "Open House." In it I specifically told them that, after he had attended, either he or I (depending on if he was able to use the computer) would notify them regarding his desire to either join OR NOT TO JOIN THEIR ORGANIZATION.Ranzie came home very depressed and said that he DID NOT WANT TO JOIN "THE ALPERT JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER." He found them to be unwelcoming and arrogant, especially with regard to his misunderstanding of their so-called "Art Activities."Both Ranzie and I have consistently communicated THE FACT THAT RANZIE DOES NOT WANT TO BE A MEMBER OR "THE ALPERT JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER." Regardless, they have continued to HARRASS US BOTH WITH CONSTANT REAL TIME MESSAGES, BY PHONE & EMAIL.DO NOT GET EVEN REMOTELY INVOLVED WITH THIS ORGANIZATION. They simply will not take "NO" for an answer. This is the last attempt we are making to have them "Cease and Desist" from harassing us anymore.ALL further communication will be automatically referred to our attorney.Sincerely,Ranzie Claxton & Catherine Parr
