If you’re coming for an event or for the scenery it a great option. The resort grounds are pretty the rooms are charming. However, if you’re looking to feel well rested the next day bring your own pillow, maybe your own bedding. This was the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had in ages. I’m in my late 30s so not super old but woke up with terrible back pain. Honestly wish I brought my own pillows, theres only 3 on the two person bed and they are so thin, mattresses are incredibly firm. Definitely not a comfortable sleep, woke up much earlier than I wanted to because it was so painful. So wanted to share this for others.

We felt we were in our private resort. Large pool with almost no-one else in it. Quiet and peaceful in the woods. Friendly staff. And don't forget the corn hole. All that stopped this from being a 5 star review were some minor glitches. Every cabin should have a can opener, spatula and a corkscrew. Ours were missing. We will be back!

My family and I have stayed here a couple times and really enjoy it! Although the bathrooms are small and no AC; you can’t beat the views! We love that it’s peaceful, beautiful and calming. We definitely will be back.

We came today from a very hot city and found this paradise.. This is exactly the place we love to stay on our active holiday through the North America.. It's a super quiet here, the rooms is lovely and cozy, and very clean.. The fridge might be a bit bigger but we fit with all that needed to be cool down.. The guy in the office is very kind and friendly.. We're surrounded with a huge trees and gorgeous nature.. We're super happy here ♥️?

Unfortunately, the lodges are very old. The refrigerator in the room was turned off and full of water. After wiping it out, we put it into operation independently.
The bathroom was very small. The shower cubicle took some getting used to and, with its plastic cladding, resembled that of a camping car.
The area is wonderful for starting hikes and spending time with the family. An outdoor pool is also available to guests.

We had an awesome family snow trip. Location was perfect, plenty of snow to play in right in front of the rooms. Loved the all day ice skating and the rooms were very roomy. My only critiques would be, the beds were a little too firm for my liking. But some people love firm beds. And maybe a microwave for the rooms. Or a little on site store/deli might me nice. So people don't have to drive down so the closest market. And maybe turn the outside lights on in front of the motel so kids/people could play at night if they wanted too. These are just suggestions but our trip was still amazing! On a side note. I lost my wallet. With all of our travel cash in it (a lot) and someone turned it in to the ice rink. With all the money still in it. I wish I could have thanked them.

We had a great time. The pull out couch was a little rough but the area makes up for it.

Showed up with no one in the office. Drove and parked towards the rear of parking lot. Passed a cabin with loud music and someone sitting on the porch. Called the number on the office door when we walked back to front. The same lady that was sitting on the porch with the loud music helped us check in. She was very nice. Big storm came in that night that took the power out. Generator came on at some time during the night. Good thing I brought full charged portable batteries for charging. Shower was kind of gross around the edging. Couldn't plug fridge in as it had three prongs and plugs were two. Found the end to a hanging light that had an adapter for three prong to two. Took the adapter and used it on the fridge. Blinds wouldn't fully close and curtains didn't come close to covering the window. Old leather couch in the room. (Wouldn't sit on it) Nice pool area although, no hot tub. Grounds were nice with volleyball net set up. Fire pit area although, no one mentioned anything about actually having a fire. Will try somewhere else next time.

Great place to bring the family. Location is surrounded by beautiful trees and nature. Parking was super easy to find. I didn't get that corporate feel. Had a great stay, friendly staff too.
