Helped me out big time when my jeep got stuck in the mud in Death Valley. The only tow place around so they kind of have you by the balls. Paid $1400 to be pulled out but that was my only option.

I DONT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE AT ALL. The person on the phone is SUPER RUDE , probably the owner bc with that behavior I doubt is a worker. They abuse of the fact that there's not many options and treat you like SHIT , Me and my friend were waiting for them for 2 hours and we finally called to check he was super rude saying that the driver didn't saw us ( a lie bc it's a small road and besides our location, we were waiting and watching for them ) he was super rude and told us to go somewhere else, the problem? He waisted our day hours , we gonna be left stranded until tomorrow a tire shop opens bc he WASTED OUR DAY AND TIME AND NEVER SHOWED UP. He's rude but I bet he's not when is a man talking to him . DO NOT RECOMMEND TO WOMEN TRAVELING ALONE. VERY DISRESPECTFUL, POOR COSTUMER SERVICE AND HE WAS RUDE SINCE THE FIRST MOMENT, BEING SARCASTIC WHEN WE WERE TRYING GIVE OUR PROPER LOCATION, A MESS ! I hate that he's the only option around , bc he own both tow companies in lone pines so BE AWARE. He also never told us the price ??? Get a tow on the other cities , they're cheaper and they have good costume service also tire shops around (:

On a 107F day we stopped with a flat tire at 11:30am and were turned away, even though there was no car waiting for tire service. "The boss said no, just go to Big Pine, 30min away". Turns out we had a delaminated tire that could have popped any minute and left us stranded. Terrible customer service and careless folks!

Here's the story about John Miller and how he saved us. We traveled from Northridge to lone Pine on Sunday morning once we got to lone Pine our 32 foot motorhome died. AAA couldn't help and finally someone recommended Miller towing. When I called on Sunday around noon, John answered the phone and proceeded to tell us that all we needed to do was wait and then once it was around midnight, we could add fresh cool gas to our tank that was probably vapor locked and head back home the coolest point of the day. it was a miracle to us. It was 100% correct and we made it home safely by 6 o'clock in the morning I would recommend Miller towing to any and everyone who needs help or just plain old advice

Super nice groups of guys. Flat towed Jeep from Kentucky to Lone Pine CA, was having an issue with squeaking noise in brakes, they got me in and out in under 30 mins, after finding a smushed can between pads and rotor. Thanks again guys!!!

John came from Lone Pine to Panamint Springs on Highways Patrol request to assist getting our broken down truck towing a 5th wheel to a safe spot off the westbound lane which we were blocking. He was prompt, efficient and capable.

My truck died in Death Valley on a Sunday morning. My insurer called a tow service from Pahrump for some reason but I live in Central Valley so I wanted it closer to where I was camping in Lone Pine. Had it towed to Miller's. Even though they were closed Sunday I called the number letting them know it was being dropped off and I would be there first thing Monday morning to discuss the next step and compensate Miller's for holding it. I'm stuck here after all and not going anywhere, The person on the phone was rude and argued that their lot was full (not even close) and that the tow service could not drop it off for any reason. There is no other shop in town either. I've been turning a wrench for 35 years on the side and never heard a shop turn down work even if it was a month before it could be addressed nor prevent anyone from temporarily leaving a vehicle considering I was stranded in a small town on a Sunday. A good example of Lone Pine nice?

A very belated glowing review of when John saved me from the side of the road in my RV last year.In late May 2023 I was just starting my 5,000-mile, 13-state roadtrip from AZ to Ohio. Five days in I decided against my original plan of going to Tahoe through western NV and opted to take the CA mountainous route in my 26' RV. Needless to say, after plenty of 10° grade mountainous downhills and not downshifting properly I eventually found myself at the bottom of the mountain with smoking brakes and barely a cell signal. After MANY calls I somehow, miraculously, was connected with John Miller...the angel who saved me who I'm thankful for to this day. His is the only RV towing service in the county, it was the biggest weekend of the year for the area (Memorial Day plus the area's biggest annual event) and absolutely no one else was able to help. He drove an hour to pick me up, arrived to me bawling that I had nowhere to take my RV for repairs so he kindly towed me/my RV back to his lot an hour away to Lone Pine, let me stay on the lot (with power hookup!) for the night and checked everything out the next day. Fortunately I had only started burning up the lubricant on my (new) brake pads (hence the smoke) so there was no real damage done. He re-lubed everything, made a few adjustments and had me on the road the next day. He encouraged me to continue my month-long roadtrip as I had planned it and not let this setback deter me (I was hesitant to stick to my plan). He was exactly who I needed to get me back on track with the repairs but also mentally.I don't know how I was so lucky to have things line up as they did but John truly saved me that day. It was just me and my little 6-lb dog on a cross country adventure and I had zero options at the time and was very scared. He was so kind as we drove back to his shop with my RV in tow as we chatted and he reassured me all would be ok. And it was.My dad had died three months earlier and I 100% believe he sent John to me, he was watching out for me from above and sent this kind, caring man to help me and I'm forever grateful. John is truly an angel among us and I can only imagine how many others he's saved in his 50 years in the business. I can't recommend him and his business enough.Thank you John.

We got a flat on the way to Lone Pine California, and we just stayed night in my hometown and took car to Miller's. They said fred would help out. We paid only 50.00 for patch, but we were able to be on the way. Good company and good talk

Many thanks again to Issac, who saved our trip by fixing our leaking tire. Great fast service allowed us to complete our cross-state drive and make it back home.

Yes they were very fun and personable. You wud be happy too by if you were making bank off the tourist trade like they do.. if you have enough money they will just about do anything you need. If you dont they will just laugh at you while telling you what they will charge because it’s such a dirty job- the one you need done but can’t afford it.They certainly are not going the extra mile unless it’s costing you extra.Service: Tires
