Cute little ranch located along horshoe meadow road. They have an actual lavender harvest which then they make oils, balms, spritz, and sachets for sale. Staff is friendly and will answer questions. They also encourage you to walk the grounds and check out the horses, chickens and nearby creek. The staff also mentioned they have cabins for rent.

I accidentally found this place while driving to Horseshoe Meadows. It is charming. I bought some lavender syrup and soap. Both smell great and the syrup is good on strawberries. I met Julie, who was charming, and told me the story of how she came to be there. The view of Owens Lake is spectacular. I did not stay but the cabin up the canyon a little way looked very inviting. If you are in the Lone Pine area, go! The Horseshoe Meadows road is paved all the way up to 10,000 feet, the second-highest paved road in California.

De La Cour Ranch is truly a hidden gem in the foothills not far from Lone Pine, CA. A beautiful lavender farm, producing oil, culinary lavender, fragrant sachets, as well as other homemade products, is nestled in a secluded area surrounded by amazingly, beautiful mountains. When we arrived, we were greeted by a mature young man, in grade school, who gave us a tour of the property, shared his knowledge about the farm and escorted us out to the lavender farms to pick our own lavender, as my dog ran around the grounds. Cole really made the morning special for us by his genuine nature and generous personality. He really added to the unique experience and it's one I would not have ever expected. It set us up for a wonderful day in the mountains. Although we didn't stay overnight, we viewed several of the rustic cabins and without a doubt, plan to go back and stay. This property is off the beaten track and a rare find.

Wonderful owners. Have known from local craft fairs before they got the store front. Have bought some lavendar plants and the oil. I make some of my own sachets from dried flowers. A few drops of the oil lasts a long time.

De La Cour Ranch makes amazing organic lavender products. I love buying them to have on hand for gifts. Julie is super knowledgeable about lavender and its benefits as well as the whole Lone Pine area. If you get a chance definitely check out the ranch at 5000Horseshoe Meadows Road as well! (Wednesday through Sunday 10 am-3 pm)

We just spent time in late October here and were so pleased with the accomodations. We stayed in the cabin with a kitchen and bathroom. It was immaculate and very comfortable. The furnace/fireplace was a bonus and kept us cozy and warm after we arrived on the day of a big snow and rain storm. The kitchen met our basic cooking/refrigeration needs and the very hot shower in the bathroom was welcome every night. We found the beds to be quite comfortable. We also poked around at the other cabins, cookhouse, and shower/baths and found them to be lovely and very clean. I saw a review on another review site that said the cabin wasn't warm and that simply isn't true. As a matter of fact, we even opened the windows to let some of the heat out. Julie and her husband were excellent hosts, Julie was even waiting for us when we arrived (after kindly answering my many questions before we arrived--I was traveling with my elderly mother and wanted to make sure she was comfortable), and when we had a little problem with the heat, they came up immediately to our cabin and fixed it. A great bonus was that their dogs, Sweetie and Tibbs, came to greet us every morning and evening. I had a hard time saying goodbye to them. I think the cabins would be great for people who are fishing, just coming off the trail at Horseshoe Meadows and needing a place to recuperate and shower, camping with horses, or just wanting some peace and solitude. I'm already trying to figure out a reason to go back. Something to remember is that the cabin light fixtures are propane fueled. We preferred to bring our own solar "Luci lights" and to use the battery operated ones in the cabin to avoid the smell of propane. It was super easy to recharge our solar lights every day.

An awesome place to visit and buy lavender products! They have rental cabins, horseback riding trips and lavender which my wife used with excellent effect on her migraine just a couple of days ago. It is just a few miles out of town on the way up Horseshoe Meadows road. They sell firewood too. Jeff is an excellent and amiable host.
