Absolutely the worst dealership on the Central Coast. They are crooked as fuck they do half ass work and certify cars that are eligible to be certified too bad there isn't a Honda police cuz that place will be shut down the service manager there walks around like his shit don't stink and sexually harasses all the woman. And the crooked owner doesn't do nothing about it. The owner would tell his employees to go take parts off the wholesale cars to put on the cars that he's going to retail. Take it for me I work there 15 years do not buy a car from this shit hole go to Santa Maria Honda

The electric seat in my 2018 CRV quit working so I took it to Rocket town to be repaired. They said it was a faulty switch and charged me $170. If I wanted to have the switch changed they would have to order the part and they would call me to set up an appointment. I opted to have the car fixed. Six weeks went by so I call the dealership. They said the part had been on back order but that it was now available and they would call me back to set up an appointment. A month goes buy so my wife calls them and they say they have the part and they can do the repair the next day. We take the car in the next day and within a couple of hours they call and say the car is ready. I pay another $170, parts and labor, go out and check the seat and it still doesn't work. I tell them the seat still doesn't work and they try to give me some song and dance that that is how the seat operates. They finally admit that they did not fix the problem and say they will have to do some more investigating. I agree to leave the car overnight. They call me the next morning with the good news that they found the problem and it is in the motor, the bad news is they can't just change the motor but have to change the whole seat assembly at a cost to, me, of $2200. We had another problem with this same dealership when we purchased this car. They messed up the DMV paperwork so badly that it took us three years to get it strightened out.

Hard core sales tactics are off-putting. Did not buy from here, so I can't comment on post purchase services.Re owners response: Maybe your record keeping needs to be updated, we test drove a car.

I've had Hondas since 1996 and have always taken them to Lompoc Honda for service. The service has always been stellar but has really declined in the past year. Unfortunately, I will not be returning following the latest incident. I phoned to make an appointment for a simple oil change but no one answered the phone so I left a message. After waiting a few hours, still no return call so I called again and got an answer but was told the service girls were really busy and to try back later. I called again near closing time and still no one answered the phone. I called the next day and, amazingly, still no answer. I decided to book an appointment online although I wanted to ask a few questions before making this appointment which is why I preferred calling. The online system says they will call or email to confirm your appointment time but I never got a confirmation for this either. How can a customer call multiple times, leave messages, book online and not get any reply whatsoever??? It's been 4 days and still nothing. Really disappointing that a business you've been so loyal to and has always been solid has now devolved to absolutely unacceptable service. It shouldn't even be called service as I was never actually given the chance to BE served. I called Honda of Santa Maria and they answered right away and booked my appointment immediately. Super nice and professional! I've received a confirmation email as well as a phone call reminder about my service appointment. Looks like they have a new customer. Still very sad about this. Maybe I'll try back in a year.

I bought a new starter from the Lompoc Honda in May 2021 with a 3 year warranty. I had issues with the starter not even a year later and dealt with it almost daily, for a year. I’ve asked Honda a couple times to fix it but kept getting turned away (by Justin). It was so frustrating because at the end of my pregnancy, my car wasn’t reliable to even start. Fast forward, baby is four months old and finally I get the help I need from Nick. I am so so grateful for him, he was always kind and respectful (unlike the last guy), and with the help of an awesome technician found that my starter was faulty. Got it replaced and I haven’t had an issue with my car since (it’s been about a month now). Thank you so much Nick and the team that helped!

Saturday, we drove from Bakersfield to Rocketown Honda in Lompoc 2 1/2 hours 149 miles to purchase a certified pre owned 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback. This was my (19) year old sons first car buying experience. First, they tacked on an additional 10k & tried to sell us the warranty the car already came with. Thank goodness I was there and made them REMOVE ALL THAT CRAP (dishonest) My son removed taped registration in right corner and the windshield was severely chipped. My son spent his hard earned money to be cheated or conned by this act of deception. I've bought MANY vehicles in my lifetime & NEVER experienced SUCH DECEPTIVE practice. Who & why would purposefully hide that by covering it up? Certified Pre Owned Honda's are suppose to go through inspection process. Clearly they didn't care. When we test drove the car there were stickers hiding the crack as well. Thank goodness I took photos & can prove the car windshield was cracked before the car left the lot. But, when they took the car back it should have been brought to our attention. Instead it was purposely hidden/covered up by the registration slip. Much to my son's surprise when he removed the tape he was distressed! His new car was damaged. In addition, there appears to be some sort of black screen or electrical issue with the instrument system. I've contacted the dealership they offered to repair but, the trust is gone. Plus it's 2 1/2 hours away. Rockettowns deception & character is tarnishedWe don't trust them & won't be returning there. That windshield crack was hidden with sells stickers then the registration paper. We filed a complaint with American Honda & they agreed with us. I'll be taking the car to our mechanic to have the car diagnosed at Rocketowns expense. if there's any issues & something electrical needs repaired it will be repaired by our local dealer where I've bought several previous cars from. Buyer BEWARE of this shady place.

Where do I begin, I bought a brand new Honda Civic from them in 2021. I told them I wanted my license plates transferred from my current vehicle to my new vehicle, and they assured me that they could do this. When I received my vehicle, with its temporary plates, I received my permanent plates in the mail but they were not transferred over. When I returned to Honda to have them fix this, they assured me they could. But of course they contacted me two days later and stated that they couldn't. I then went to AAA and they took care of it in 15 minutes.I paid for rear USB plugs, so that my passengers could charge their phones in the back seat. Seat. They said that they would contact me when the part came in but they did not have it in stock. They never did. Recently. I went back to them and asked them to fix this and they told me, " that it was too long ago and there's nothing they could do. So they basically took money from me but did not give me the product that I paid for, which means they stole from me.My stepfather went in to trade in his Honda CRV for a new CRV. Firstly, they didn't want to haggle with him and it took a few weeks for them to reach out to my stepfather and agree to a price that both my stepfather and the dealership could agree to. When he went back to finalize some of the paperwork he told them that the check that he wrote them hadn't cleared the bank yet. They basically lost his check and had to find it.This dealership has terrible customer service, it is not willing to go above and beyond to make things right when they make these errors. You're better off going to Honda of Santa Maria.

I have to say I had a great experience buying a car a Lompoc Honda. The team was so friendly and not pushy at all. I truly felt like they cared and were genuine. They made it happen for me and worked with my budget. They were honest and that’s hard to find ! Great thanks to Sebastian, Sue and the manager who worked those number for me ! If you’re looking for a car or even interested go see them !

Worst business practices. Totally shady used car sales tactics! I had set an appointment to buy a used car, which was confirmed that morning (I called twice) . I then drove an hour and a half, only to learn they had sold the car the day before. Tried to upsell me to a new car and were not honest with me about the process or what had happened. The manager tried to justify the process and he gives sales people a bad name.

Very dissatisfied with this dealership. They blatantly told me my car had serious issues, got it checked out elsewhere and was told nothing was wrong. Not a good look for the owner to lie to your face. Do better Vlad

If I could give a 0 starts I would, my brother went to this Honda because he's searching for his new car, he's a first time buyer and because I have a Honda Pilot and have worked for Honda before I told him he could never go wrong with a Honda, so he wanted to come by and get a Honda Civic he saw on their website for 26K so I told him yes this is an amazing deal go for it, so he goes without me because unfortunately I was busy but I did explain to him some of this salespeople tactics, I have purchased vehicles before and know how the process goes. So my poor brother comes to this shit show dealer hoping he would get a good deal, already had that civic and price on lockdown now I do understand sometimes there will be taxes and some fees added when purchasing a new vehicle but never in my life did I imagine this people would take advantage of my brother, just because he was a first time buyer they thought they could start adding all this extra bs on the purchase agreement and they didn't think he would catch on, when he was in the process of researching and looking at options I prepared him very well and explained the process step by step. So the car online is listed for 26K, online they even offered a much lower option when you input your info online, they promise to unlock the price but they don't they have to call you, anyways I would like for someone to explain to me how does a car that costs 26K MSRP go from that to 40K dollars!???? That is INSANE!!!!! And they didn't even ask my brother if he wanted to add anything additional to the purchase agreement they just went ahead and added everything they wanted to add to this purchase without my brothers permission. Next thing they do they just pop out with $40,000 purchase agreement and expected him to sign without even going through it like really you are charging him $200 for wheel locks that when the vehicle goes to the pre-inspection, they already charge it to the store, make it make sense on top of that. They had a $2000 mark up to the MSRP for no reason they added some paint insurance that we don't need and they added two other things that I had no idea what they were. So that raised a huge red flag and after that, I told my brother to just bounce it's not worth to deal with people like this. All they worry about is making their commission check and not what the customer wants. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and we ended up going to Toyota got a brand new 2023 Toyota Camry for 33K!!! They went ahead and worked with us and listened to what my brother wanted and needed, that's how you do business and not scam people because you think they don't know how the process works so thankfully I prepared my brother for these type of people and glad he didn't get scammed by this store and their tactics, so disappointing. Don't come here if you ain't trying to get scammed, these people aren't transparent and they worried about is making they commission check

If I could give this zero stars I would!!we came in and made a deal with the car spoke to the owner directly because he was going to give us the best deal out there. When we finance signed everything as we were walking out, we noticed that they didn’t lower the price to the discount that he was supposedly going to give us, we’ve been calling back and very unprofessional of him has not been able to return our calls!!!! this is not only a bad look on his business, but on his person as well. If you can’t trust a business, not even when you’re making the business with the owner, you can’t expect much from the staff. Call your customers back after the sale not only when you’re selling something!!
