They don't clean the place. What's the machines are old and they don't fix it you keep donating money I don't know where the money goes. They are not fixing anything.

This is a small YMCA, but is overall pretty clean and i well located with plenty of parking. Kathy the instructor was wonderful and a great knowledge resource. All that said, there is no pool or water exercise capability there; you have to pay a separate fee to the City of Lompoc to access the aquatic center, which is literally right behind the Y, and it is expensive with limited adult access in the exercise pool because it is primarily geared towards children and families. Additionally, the Y itself is at least 95% geared towards children and families, with adults and seniors treated to crumbs and as an afterthought. Not very welcoming at all if you aren't a family with young children. Lastly, the hours are not great for those on non-traditional schedules, and the membership fee is quite expensive. Sad, because my entire family has been a Y family since my brother and I were kids, and there was always plenty of access to things and activities, classes, functions AND a pool at other YMCAs. Just not this one. Again, great for families and little kids and people looking for what amounts to a daycare center and kids camp. Not so great for everybody else.

My favorite gym in town! They have a great free weights area with dumbbells up to 120 lbs, all 3 main angles of barbell benches, a few adjustable benches and the right amount of machines/cardio stations to get a great workout in. The facility is always clean and the staff has always been friendly. It doesn't get crowded at all during the day until around 4pm. Great place overall, would definitely recommend to all in town.

Very nice gym but the hours are not set up for people who have full time jobs and commute. The gym is closed during all the hours that our family has time off. We would have a family membership but will have to take our business elsewhere due to the inconvenient hours.

When coming into the YMCA In Lompoc I was very much pleased with the helpfulness, kindness, and attention I got from Diana Garcia. She really helped me feel comfortable with coming into work out. I was interested in classes and she was really proactive on giving me the information I needed. She encouraged me to try body pump for a good full body workout I’m really excited to attend in the near future. Thank you so much for all your help!

Very friendly staff especially Cameron and Diana, they are very helpful. Been coming here for some time now and is one of the better gyms in Lompoc that is not congested.

Pretty nice YMCA. The weightroom was on the small side, only one squat rack (and a Smith machine) and one flat barbell bench. That could be a problem if it was busy but it was nearly empty on a weekday afternoon. Dumbbells went up to 100lbs.

I absolutely recommend the Lompoc YMCA! We joined when we first moved to Lompoc and it was one of the best decisions we made. The Facility is always clean, Staff is amazing and super helpful and friendly, my girls absolutely love the childcare and their “teachers†My boys love being able to be apart of our gym experience. And last but certainly not least I LOVE THE CLASSES! Extreme Fitness is my favorite, Spin is awesome. It's just all around a great place to be. I love being part of the YMCA family!
