Overall, an OK hotel. This one seems like an older property, and the lobby and gym are due for a renovation, although the rooms are still in reasonable condition. Pool area did not have towels stocked. No perks for Honors Diamond members. On the plus side, there are ample EV chargers.Food & drinks: There's a restaurant on-site that does breakfast and dinner

The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff member Itzel made our retreat most enjoyable. We were very impressed by her consistent responsiveness. What is most commendable is that numerous requests were all but acceded. Thank you! We will be back! Best Wishes, Elise E.

The hotel itself was very nice. Breakfast options were meh... I'd much rather have had a continental breakfast than cook to order options that were trying too hard to be unique. My chief issue and why I am only giving one star overall is that there was a mix up in my reservation and I wound up getting charged a no show fee. I get it, that's fine, but I asked when I arrived to the hotel and was told by the staff they'd speak with the manager for me, then when I left the desk staff stated that it was taken care of and yet nothing had been refunded. I called the hotel to ask about it after my stay and they stated they would have a manager call me. I never received such a call. I honestly don't believe that anyone I asked did anything. It's one thing to be told no, it's another to have multiple people commit to having a response for me and not hear one. Leaving thinking things were taken care of then finding out as I submitted my expenses that the weren't was an unpleasant surprise in an already stressful trip. From what I'm told by others, the Embassy Suites across the street is a better place to stay.

If you're planning a visit to Solvang, I highly recommend staying at this location if you have a car. The comfort and prices here are great. We were able to get a clean and quiet room that easily accommodated three people. The staff at this location is fantastic. They were all very friendly and helpful, especially Raul, who assisted us in charging our car via a wall outlet when the hotel’s charging station was occupied for the entire night, and another was broken.Additionally, the downstairs bar is great and offers reasonably priced drinks and food.

Great service, solid food (try the tri-tip), nice clean room. SpaceX launches can be seen from the parking lot - they'll rattle the windows. Will definitely stay again.

Air conditioner was loud and temp control was minimal. Windows don't open to let in the cool dry, pleasant air at night. Bed was kind of hard and the pillows provided no support. Bed coverings were cheap synthetic material that got too hot, a problem made worse by the lack of adequate AC controls.

Great hotel and clean rooms. The breakfast was not great and there was no self-service option.

After having a bad experience at Embassy Suites next door, I came here hoping for a better stay. This was so clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was also lovely and Reina put up with me asking for 100 things but was such a pleasure and happy. I am grateful to have found this wonderful hotel and will stay any time I am in town. Thank you!

We stayed here for a night and all of us loved every bit of it. We actually moved over from Embassy Suites across the street after staying there a night - that place sucked, was like a cheap motel. This Hilton Garden Inn seems new: rooms, bathrooms, lobby were all clean and had a modern look. They have 3 Tesla chargers which the hotel should monitor as people leave cars for long periods and not giving others opportunity to charge.I would definitely stay here again when in this area.

I have to say, one of the best Hilton's stay I've had anywhere. The room was clean and roomy. The only thing I didn't like was the sliding door on the bathroom. Loved the curtain, I have to mention this in this review because it blocked most of not all the light in the room. Best sleep in a hotel. Another thing was the shampoo and other stuff were in pump bottles. So you forgot anything, your cover. Highly recommend!!!Safety: Safe and secure..

Rooms ok if it's a short visit. Food here is ok if they cook it right. No free breakfast and breakfast isn't great either. I'd go for the embassy next door.

Wifi was down. Included breakfast was a cold lunch box with a muffin and 2 hard boiled eggs. Not worth the price and substandard for Hilton

Nice, newer Hilton Garden Inn. Great, helpful staff. Some cons are the insulation is thin so you will hear your neighbors. on a couple occasions the hotel rented out the hall space and they had loud music pumping until late at night. Other con would be the Valle Eatery, food is pretty blah (the BBQ chicken meal was disgusting, it was basically a store bought rotisserie smothered in Frank's red hot hot sauce. Pizza is behind the following in terms of being good: Eye on I street, Wild West, and Bravo Pizza. the whole vibe is if you're getting something upscale but you're not. Idk, maybe it's the nicest place in town). Final con would be this is Lompoc, not the worst place in California to live but overall I'd give the town a 4/10. Few food options and tons of drunk driving at night, and a lot of crime in general for the area. H street after dark is an even more depressing sight than it is during the day.

The room was nice and spacious with all the normal amenities. One funny thing is with the change away from nightstands with drawers, there doesn't seem to be any place in the room to find the traditional Bible. If it is in the room, it is hidden well! Breakfast (not free unless you have a voucher) was fine, mine was a well-loaded omelette, and some good soup in the evening was nice. Woke up to the voice of the guy talking in the next room, so it could be better insulated. Big plus is a very good donut shop across the street!
