BUYER BEWARE!! Bought old (2015) wine duo (Pinot/sparkler) which was pricy n had a spoiled bottle! (I've stored wine properly for over 20 years n seldom open a spoiled bottle but it was probably bad when I bought it a few months ago) Terrible business practices!! When I asked for replacement bottle, Kate refused, blaming me. Will never buy their mediocre wines again!!

BUYER BEWARE! Don't buy pricy wine here...Kate's horrible customer service practice includes selling old wines that are spoiled and they will not replace a spoiled bottle...buyer beware!! These old duos they sell which is what I bought in 2022 and paid over $60 for included an average tasting 2015 Pinot and an oxidized 2015 Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine which they refused to replace upon request!

Purple furniture. Metal sculptures. A winery dog with brown eyes as soft as crushed velvet. The Flying Goat lifts you away at first sight. In fact, it makes you wax poetic:What Isaac Newton is to gravityowners Kate and Norm are to bubbly;and their pinot selectionreceives our benedictionfor its fruit-driven diversity.I first entered the Goat on a weekday afternoon in 2017, drawn by the premise and promise of a sparkling wines flight. The unique tastes of fizz, acid, and citrus made my tongue euphoric. The cheeky GHETTO graffiti on the walls made me chuckle. And the novelty of a tasting room that combined high-class methode champenoise offerings with plush, stuffed billygoat decor made my heart sing.I've returned to the Goat, time and time again, for their wine. But I've also marveled at art shows, savored honey tastings, and enjoyed made-to-order crepes in this niche space. Host Kate has a love for the community that shows in her hospitality. Winemaker Norm has a gift for turning out high-quality products that turn skeptics into believers. Case in point? My father became a sparkling wine fan after tasting the Goat's brut rose. My sister loves their red wines so much, she hoarded a bottle of their 2012 santa rita hills pinot noir for years until she found a worthy occasion to pop the cork.I have learned that the best gifts come from the most unexpected sources. The people at the flying goat, from the full-timers to the moonlighters, have opened my eyes to the incredible world of sparkling wine production, pairing, and appreciation. Give yourself the gift of a visit...and a limerick. If you are looking for bubbles that shine, redefine, and enliven sparkling wine:the Flying Goatwill float your boatfrom blanc de blancs to cremant every time.

I love this winery! This time we tried their sparkling wine. They're all delicious! I am so glad they remained open during the pandemic. Their wine prices are reasonable, so you can definitely afford their wine.

Our host, Norm, was very nice & kindly explained each varietal. Cooper, the chocolate lab greeted us upon arrival. The champagnes were very good & the pinots were excellent. Definitely worth the stop.
