Stocked with everything from automotive to crafting supplies, Dollar General is a very well stocked store. However, don't expect a .99 cent store. Prices here range from "wow, what a deal" to "wow, that's a lot for for that". That being said, I have always found solid products at (for the most part) fantastic price points there. It's like a smaller, less busy knockoff Wal-Mart. And I'm ok with that.

Worker's are nice but Dollar General are low on food all the time and they do not stock all night long as do all the other grocery stores in Lompoc and sometimes are late at getting their shipments delivered and that's because they do not have contract's with their vendor's for delivery like all the other grocery stores have. When they are in stock they actually do have everything you want

Usually a good assortment of food and general stuff, some things tend to be cheaper here than other stores, so I keep this place in the store rotation.

I'm a traveler stopping by to pick up a few things .I was very disappointed by what I witnessed .Unprofessional.There was some commotion going on with a customer and an employee with black / yellow stringy hair. she was challenging a customer over some issue and holding up the line ! Whoever the owner/manager is of this store should be monitoring his staff a little more carefully .. I will NEVER step foot in this store again I was very embarrassed by what I saw . There were other customers getting involved in whatever the issue was as well. The actions from whom I believe to be the manager could of handled herself in more of a professional manner

Store is ok, employees need better training in customer service. Giovanni was very rude, he is definitely not in the right business, As me and my small daughter walked pass him, he was being a complete as*hole complaining about customers to other employees, Dollar general do better.

My daughter was just in our local $ general andthe manager was Rude my daughter was talking to cashier about a family issue and was told it was in appropriate conversation it was about a card she cost your company our business and the shelves are never stocked properly anyways always empty Lopks like you are almost out of busimess

Most of what is in their advertisement can't be found on the shelves and when you ask the employees to check the back, they let you know it's a real imposition for them. Then, when you do pick up something marked in the isle on sale, it rarely rings up for the correct sale price; 3-4 of them will march back to the isle to see if you are lying!? Two of the 4 managers at our local store are the very worst retail employees we have ever come across; they lie, holler loudly, make false accusations, stomp their feet and pretty much tell customers to go to Hell as they fling their arms around. This has happened to us 2-3 times now. You can do way better, Dollar General!

Shelves were half empty and they didn't have what I was looking for which was a box of scalloped potato mix.
