“I have been using St. Antony Pharmacy for the past several years now, and I have to say, it is now "safe" to say how this pharmacy is one of the best pharmacies I have ever used- EVER. The service is excellent, and this is one of the places I usually get some of my compound medications from. You would think common courtesy is commonplace for all pharmacies, but sadly, that is not the case, even for pharmacies that get good reviews. So you must beware!Emad, the owner, is always very responsive when a medication does not go through for the first few times. Insurances and negligent doctors' offices can be very lazy, not to mention some other pharmacies I had to deal with in the past- meaning like having to ask for something 10-20 times even, and still being ignored!I cannot recall a time that St. Antony's has failed to return a call or email of mine, or text even! I would imagine that it is the Owner's personal value system that might have a lot to do with the way he treats his customers!This pharmacy makes themselves available through all modes of communication- email, phone, and text. I also love how they are open on Saturdays.My only wish is that I would have discovered this place a whole lot sooner, before COVID. I highly recommend St. Antony's Pharmacy without a single reservation. Does your pharmacy treat you with the utmost respect and courtesy at all times? Does your pharmacy give fair treatment to everybody? Try out this pharmacy, they are the best and they are more than some other private pharmacies I dealt with before too!”

Payam, the pharmacist was so professional, experienced and he was able to fill some very complicated prescriptions that other pharmacies including CVS and Walgreens could not locate. “I was at this place trying to find a walking cane because of the long time injury on my left knee! I could hardly walk because it is so painful. Janet was the person that helped me. She was very courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. She basically asked me some questions and tried to find out why I need a walking cane? She showed me quite a few canes but I didn't like them because I worried about if I tripped the bottom of the cane; that might just be worse. She suggested that I need to treat the pain in my knee and showed me a few knee sleeves. She even tried to put one on for me and asked me to walk a few steps and see how I felt. I was surprised that it made my leg felt more stable and could walk a little better. It's less painful by wearing that knee sleeve. Thank you so much, Janet! I appreciate it very much. I will wear it until I can find a good orthopedic surgeon to operate on my torn knee!”

“I am forever grateful for you all at St Mary’s Pharmacy. I have been going here for over five years and I’m happy to see the new location doing well and were able to open a new location to serve our community. They have come into save the day for me countless times when I have forgotten to request my refills prior to the weekend and they always have been so sweet. There are pharmacies in my past path that for some reason see what you take and decide to create a judgment on your behalf and never have I felt this with St Mary’s team. I can not tell you how happy I am have them handling my medication needs that even when I was away from the city I made sure I did the four hour+ trek to civilization to get my medications from them and them only. “This pharmacy is locally owned. The store is clean an inviting. Uyen and Maria, and the rest of staff are friendly and helpful. Although the pharmacy is smaller than the major pharmacies (CVS, WALGREENS), Southwood Pharmacy is efficient. They are very experienced and on top of your medical needs. Uyen is awesome. She not only makes you feel welcome, she is accurate, organized, and listens to your needs. I see her as a good friend. I would highly recommend Southwest Pharmacy.”

“I was born in the South bay frequenting our lovely beaches and never knew this place was here but I am certainly glad I found out. I highly recommend Pill Box for Human and pet meds! I was getting my prescriptions at Rite aid and was happy for years until last week when I decided I needed a change. This desire prompted a cascade of disasters and repeated transfers of scripts involving Pavilions in Rolling Hills and the worst/most incompetent/rude Pharmacy EVER Alberston's on 25th in San Pedro and finally to Pill Box. No one seemed to have my common meds and no one was admitting the truth that they did not have them and were back ordered. I was running out and needed a refill. I was told they were ready and driving all over town in the worst rainstorm in Cali hx trying to get them and on arrival found they were not filled but other scripts I never needed or asked for were filled. What's with that? In desperation, I called Pavilions again and asked for clarity on the stocking situation and who they thought had the meds and they recommended Pill box. Thanks Pavilions-good job. I had them transfer the meds to Pill box and they were ready that day plus there were several phone conversations to get it all right. Which I actually liked as the store apps on both Rite aid and Albertsons/Vons are poorly done, error prone, and confusing. The customer service at pill box was impeccable AND they knew their stuff. At Pill box: I spoke to a human that assured me they where ready. I spoke to a human that ran my insurance over the phone rather than a stupid website or app that won't take it or makes me put it in 50 times. I spoke to a human rather than get inaccurate texts saying meds were filled when they were not. It was cool. Pill box is easy to find one block off of PCH on a corner across from a Bev Mo. Easy parking in back and on the streets right in front. Tons of other shops in the area so you can fit a visit in with your regular routine. Rather than trust your family's health to giant chain where so much can go wrong trust these guys. Looks like they focus on one thing and they do it right. I am especially excited to learn they do pet medicine too. It is worth the drive to me.”
