The most unprofessional, unorganized, incompetent group of staff and company overall. Kay from the Lomita, CA office, is the rudest, most inconsiderate employee I've encountered. Appeared to know nothing of what she was doing. No customer service skill AT ALL. None of the staff seem to be knowledgeable of the company, or Hertz system. The charges from Hertz were at random, unexplained, and unauthorized on my end. They were unable to give you any itemized details of what you were being charged for, and would be advised to wait for the receipt. I budgeted for the rate, and tesla charging. Being charged for any extra, would cause my bank to charge me an insufficient fund fee. Of course Hertz does nothing about that. For example, I was charged for a tow fee, and had NEVER recieved such service, and was told by the DISTRICT MANAGER, that I must provide proof that I DIDN'T recieve the service, but had no proof outside of the charge, that I did. No completed work order or anything.I've rented with them consistently for a year. They have no loyalty to their returning loyal customers. Makes Uber look bad. Please stop using them. Im consulting with an attorney, I'll be suing.

Reserved a rental car online through AAA. Service was great, car was clean, price was fair. Overall great experience for renting a car-- Kay at front desk was super helpful. The place was busy so there was a bit of a wait but I was treated well and would definitely recommend this location.

The welcoming was okay,however they false advertise that the renting in uber car tesla model 3. That when you are done with the car and you took care of the car. You don't get your refund money back and they charge you for charging the car even tho it says the it's unlimited harge. They also lied about the price that it's 344.00 per week but it came up down payment 646.70 then I just found out that the price goes up on it weekly. This is the type of situation that leads hertz into false renting and turns I to lawsuits the disrespect manager and the way they talk to you. Makes you wonder why it's better the get a law suit then dealing with liars.

I had to rent a car after my car was rear-ended and totalled. At this location, John was professional and helpful. When I returned the car, Bonnie was friendly and efficient. I was in and out in minutes. I recommend them.

I was skeptical after seeing the outside of this place. Didn't look like a hertz. While waiting, I overheard some mistake that the agents made on another booking. I had to go to make another appointment, so then I checked the online reviews and they scared me off to switch my reservation to enterprise.

The car I reserved was an intermediate SUV. The car they gave me was a tiny subcompact SUV. The main issue was the pungent cigar smoke. The lady acknowledged that the previous renter had smoked in it and they charged that person $400. She even tried to help by spraying the car with something to absorb or cover the cigar smell. I asked her for a different car but she said I’d have to wait a few hours so they could sanitize the Ford focus. I elected to take it home assuming the spray she used would work. By the time I drove and arrived home, my eyes were stinging I became congested and my breathing was wheezing with allergies from the smoke. I called them and the owner asked sarcastically “the car give you allergies?” And I said “no the cigar smoke did”. He seemed annoyed. I said I would wait for the other car to be sanitized either today or the next day. He replied quickly “I’ll see what I can do I’ll call you tomorrow if there’s some thing”. He never called. It was miserable driving that car. They were very rude about it. I should’ve read the 1 star reviews on yelp before renting through them on AAA website.

I reserved an intermediate SUV. The car given to me was a subcompact SUV Buick Encore. The main issue with the car was that it stunk badly of cigar smoke. The nice lady tried to spray something in the car to get rid of the smell, but after driving it home, my eyes stung, my breathing was wheezing, and it got congested from the leftover secondhand smoke. I called the place and asked for a different car that day or the next day. the owner asked "the car gave you ALLERGIES?" I said the smoke does. He said he'd call me if there was a replacement the next day. He never called. Driving that car was miserable. I will never rent from there again.

Most unprofessional Hertz location I've dealt with, customer service does not exist here.Created a reservation for our vacation and it was almost ruined because this location closed earlier than advertised (closed by 12:20, door says open until 1PM on Saturday). What makes it worse is one of the workers saw us standing in front of the store and never asked us if we needed assistance, he just drove offWe decided to stay hoping he was just getting some food. Then 10 minutes later he came back, but when I tried to approach him that's when he notified me that they are closed.Called customer service and they transferred my reservation to LAX, now I have to pay for a bunch of fees. My bill went front 489 to 603, even though I did not cause this problem.
