Andersen's has great service both with new blinds (Hunter Douglas) as well as for repairing ones that have worn out. They've gotten the repairs done promptly when needed. We've bought several sets through them and have been satisfied.

Upon their recommendation several years ago we installed a certain style of Hunter Douglas blinds. There is a pull-down draw string mechanism that keeps breaking on our large windows. They may be great for small windows but never should have been installed for large heavy shades. Bottom line I was told "sorry you're going to have to pay for repairs or you can call Hunter Douglas yourself". These never should have been recommended in the first place. I believe in standing behind a product that I sell and doing my best to make the customer happy. Unfortunately not everyone shares my philosophy. Oh well.

I've used Andersen's to both repair, and buy new, window coverings and I am very happy with their service. - Originally, I bought Hunter Douglas roller shades (through a different company) and after being installed, had many problems. They were infuriating to deal with and couldn't get fixes right, so I called Andersen's. Luis found ways to fix the shades that Hunter Douglas couldn't!! - When it was time to put new blinds on two windows, I called Andersen's. Ended up buying Hunter Douglas again, but with Luis helping with the decision and his team installing, the blinds are great. We installed motorized because they are hard for us to reach and Luis helped with Hunter Douglas app. They're always professional, helpful, arrive on time, are extremely organized and leave the house clean when they leave. They're busy because they're good... and worth the wait.

We hired Andersen's for a house full of Hunter Douglas shades, some are motorized. The owner is so professional, so helpful, and very responsive. The showroom is large and made it easier to decide on what would look best, plus his trips out to our home to measure and decide on products. His recommendations were perfect. Any issues we had with installation were promptly dealt with including reordering one shade. Installations went smoothly, very clean and professional. Excellent service, highly recommend!

After spending thousands of dollars in blinds at Anderson's, I needed a small item to repair my blind, something I could easily do myself. One of the employees, younger one was rude and told me that I had to pay a $35. MANDATORY PRICE before anything else could be done. I asked her if she could use another word , that it was harsh and unnecessary . She said she could not think of anything. Too bad, I took my blind and said that most companies would say that there is a customary minimum fee for repairs and to look up the word MANDATORY.

We have some Hunter Douglas blinds. One of them is above a sliding glass door and is supported by three brackets. It is large and has been in place for over 20 years and subjected to much use. Two of the brackets cracked. I called Andersen's Decorating Center in Lomita; they were quite busy and could not arrange an immediate service call. I went to the store and Cindy and Isiah were incredibly great. They showed me the parts and options I needed to repair it and explained in great detail how to do it. I went home and was able to accomplish the repair in just a few minutes. Thank you, Steve

I ordered about 30 shades from them. The order process and every step till installation were easy and smooth. On the installation day which was in March, Louis came with 2 other installers. They were so organized and clean. They install all the shades and left. But since there were too many shades to install for 1 day, they didn't have time to steam the creases and fix the issues. Louis said he will come back another day to steam the shades and fix the shade which has an installation problem. It is Mid October now ad 7 months passed and he didn't come back yet. I contacted him too many times and every time he said he is short in staff and he will come next week. So, if you order through them make sure you solve the issues on the installation day since they won't come back again. Their customer service after installation and getting the money is so bad. I was about to order shades for the rest of my windows but I will go with another company. I spent lots of money to install Hunter Douglas Shades on my window but they don't look as nice as they should be.

Just picked up one of the two blinds I had brought in two months ago. When I dropped them off, they took my charge card and told me the inspection cost of $35 per shade would be applied to the service. After not hearing from them for about a month, I went in to see if the blinds were ready. They told me one could not be restrung and the other still wasn't fixed. I took the "unfixable" one home. They said they would call me when the other was ready. In the meantime, I was charged $70 on my card. I called again two days ago and the remaining shade still had not been repaired. I called again today and was told the shade was ready. It only required a clip that held the strings in place when opening and closing the blinds. Then I was told I needed to pay another $40. When I objected, they finally let me take my shade home without another charge of $40. This after waiting two months for a repair.

The process was truly a pleasure and outstanding in every regard. Andersen met every deadline, fulfilled every promise and the beautiful results exceeded our expectations. The team is professional, knowledgeable, and really cares about their clients. Louie is excellent at design and installation and is involved from start to finish. Vanessa and Paola who work in the showroom are so helpful and great to work with. To decrease the UV light in our home, Louie installed 1% UV roller shades for our kitchen/bathroom, and a room darkening shade for a large skylight. We are thrilled with the quality/beauty of the Hunter Douglas materials. The shades not only beautify our home, but also protect us from harmful UV. We would highly recommend Andersen and plan to work with them in the future!

This place has been around for many years and must be doing something right. I called and asked if my wife and I could swing by to look at and discuss some customs shutters. They discouraged this as they didn't have their expert there and we should talk with him. So we have our number and waited for a call, and waited, and waited. Still waiting BTW. Sounds like business has been good as it has been for many contractors during COVID and I am happy for them but being responsive when busy and flush with work says something about that business. Good luck to this place. I'm sure they are also more expensive than many options available thru Yelp. I suggest reaching out to Eric at Superior Blinds and shutters. Maybe I will get a call after this review but I'm not holding my breath.

Without a doubt one the BEST window treatment places you will find! This is a family operated business and EVERYONE there is so helpful and kind! There are at least 4 Hunter-Douglas window treatment places between Manhattan Beach, where we live, and Lomita, where Andersens is located, but worth traveling the extra distance to work with such an incredible group of people! Luis Martinez and his family are simply a pleasure to work with! They repair quickly and extremely honestly.....you always get terrific service!

Couldn't be happier with Luis at Andersen's Decorating Center. Luis' background in design was invaluable and the pride he takes in his work really shows.We recently worked with him to select and install shades in our home. After a brief discussion about what we were looking for in shades, Luis came out with some samples, helped us select colors/materials, and took measurements. He was great about keeping us informed, during manufacture and delivery, and was on hand participating in the installation. His crew was efficient and clean, and really paid attention to detail with things like routing of wiring for powered mechanisms and ensuring that everything lined up and worked correctly. Luis didn't leave until he had confirmed that everything was installed correctly and functioning perfectly.In addition to to installing the shades, Luis gave us some great ideas on how to further enhance the look of our rooms with ideas like color-matched, wooden valences.I would highly recommend Luis and Andersen's to anybody on the market for window coverings.
