I only use this store as a last resort!!this 1 star is solely for the Deli department and their terrible and lazy service! If it’s not having to wait for 5-10 minutes to even be helped, it’s being told they are closed and cleaning up an hour early almost every time I go there after work. I hate being the guy that has to go get a manager to tell people to do their bare minimum responsibilities, but if you close at certain time that is when you close and even if customer comes 2 mins before that time you serve them. That is your job, if you don’t like it find a job where you can do whatever you want whenever you want. I know it sucks but that’s reality and it just needs to be done.

Not returning here for sushi or anything, period!! This location sold my teen daughter a supposed "freshly made" sushi roll containing spoiled cucumber. I called Stater Bros immediately after my kids told me the cucumber tasted bad. By that time, my 17 & 8 yo had eaten most of the roll. The assistant manager, by the name of Jasmine, could really care less. Offered no apology/ responded without concern regarding the spoiled cucumber in the sushi, instead we were instantly offered an exchange. After I informed her my kids had already eaten it/ we're not interested in an exchange/ we're simply calling to make the store aware that my kids consumed spoiled food from their establishment/ if they can please throw it away/ MAKE SURE OLD FOOD IS BEING DISPOSED OF AND NOT SERVED/people don't want to be served anything old, she said "okay, I will." didn't say anything further. As I mentioned, no concern, no apology. She used more words in her greeting upon answering the phone. You guys have got to be kidding me. I'm very upset by this experience, I filed a formal complaint with the county whose inspection returned without findings of said spoiled cucumber and a no further action to top it off! I mean, COME ON!!! It's been over a week since this happened! Of course the spoiled cucumber has been discarded. Properly train your employees to handle these situations, and most importantly to discard food when it's time!! It's not uncommon to employ people that don't fulfill their most basic duties when no one is looking. Someone in charge of making "fresh- made to order sushi" didn't do their job on this day, this was supposed to be a fun, "hey Ma, I'm going to pick up some sushi for me and my kid sister to share, I'll be right back." Rather turned out to be my kids eating this disgusting food we trusted would be fresh. Probably too much of a hassle to chop up some fresh cucumber for this kid's roll. Way to go, Stater Bros!!!

Once again, Loma Linda Staters and its rude checkers. Walmart’s neighborhood store is literally across the street where they are trained to be friendly and to smile, and the prices are lower. The only reason I go to Staters is because they still have checkers, but that point is made moot when the checkers are consistently rude. The last manager was recently let go and she was replaced with this new guy, now we’ll see what he can do to transform the culture. Employees at the Stater Bros on Alabama and Barton have told me that they get customers from Loma Linda that refuse to shop there for the same reason. In less than 5 years I fully expect to see an empty building where Loma Linda Stater Brothers is now

The cashier, the name “ Daniela,” was extremely rude. When we were paid, the transaction did not go through- She told us out loud our card had no money on it. She didn't even ask us to try again. We wonder how she even knows our bank card has no money.
She is very unprofessional. We would never come to the Loma Linda location to shop anymore. Bad experience with this cashier!!!

Mostly they have the things that I need but if they don't I'll go to Redlands or Colton which have a bigger variety outside the blue zone. They never have gumbo file which is frustrating cuz I've requested it a few times and I know that more than me have needed it. Still no gone both away 4/23

You want to go shopping and feel welcomed this is your store to go!!! Everyone here at Stater Bros make u feel like family. There smiles, professionalism, there beyond above customer service is absolutely exceptional!!! If you have any complaints it’s probably of how hard you laughed when u left the store. They always are ready to help!!! Thank you!!!

Not in a very good area. Every time I go someone is either being arrested or stealing. Most of the workers are great while some aren't very courteous. Two employees were having a conversation very loudly while I was in between them. One was explaining a sign and the other was yelling that she didn't know what she was talking about. It was unprofessional and uncalled for.

Beautiful, well stocked store. They have a wide variety of fresh flowers and pre made bouquets. Fresh sushi, deli items, cheese varieties etc. no lines, friendly staff. 5 out of 5 Stars in my book!
