I've never had such a sincere and honest experience as I had here, where it felt like I was having a family member genuinely look out for the best interest of me and my vehicle. The owner and his team are great at what they do, and if they can't get the service you need done here, they'll go above and beyond to ensure you find somewhere nearby that can for sure help you.
I hope that yall have as good of an experience as I did here, honestly, gladly will take my chevy here to get the work done right.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing top-notch service at Island Auto Parts Low Mileage Used Japanese Engines & Transmissions, a respectable family-owned business that truly prioritizes customer satisfaction and service. From start to finish, my interaction with this establishment was nothing short of exceptional.
Upon entering the shop, I was warmly greeted by a friendly staff member who took the time to listen to my concerns and provide me with all the information I needed. The team's knowledge and expertise were evident as they guided me through the process, explaining each step.
It was clear that they valued my business.
Moreover, the quality of the work on my car far exceeded my expectations and was completed in a timely manner and most of all affordable. I could immediately feel the difference in my vehicle's performance. It was evident that the technicians took pride in their work.
Overall, my experience at this family-owned business was outstanding. I left feeling confident in the work that was done and grateful for the exceptional customer service I received. I highly recommend this auto shop, I had to get my suv a new motor and they fixed it, got it running again for a very good price. They are very good people and give great prices as well as very professional.

The dealership told us our Subaru Outback (2012, 100k miles) required $11k of repairs due to an issue with the radiator even though it was driving fine. This essentially meant our car was totaled. We happened to find AK to look into a used engine replacement and he performed another diagnostic. Rather than just agree with the dealer and install a used engine, he actually didn’t find any issues and was honest about it! We appreciate that he didn’t just use our plight as an opportunity to earn some money. Will definitely come back if we do have a terminal issue with the car

A few months ago I had my engine replaced at Island Auto. AK was a good man to work with and his mechanic, Yogi, seemed to take pride in his work. If you need a low mile replacement engine I recommend you call and see if AK can get you going.

Got a rebuilt engine from these guys and drove it 4000 miles and it lost all compression in cylinder 4 which means it's a bad engine and took him the paperwork and he said he can't do anything because it's past a year like anyone is going to drive 12000 miles in a year.... doesn't even know the company where he got the engine even though his sales pitch was oh yeah I've been working with them for 6 Years and no problems ever. I feel so swindled and just left in the dust. Said he can't do anything to help.... I hope for you all that you never get any work from this guy. He has paperwork all over the place and couldn't find mine so had to make copies and in the back "shop" it's even worse... terrible company

AK and the mechanic were very helpful and honest. They did an engine swap on my 07 Lexus and did a great job. They only work on one car at a time, so it can take awhile to get your car in. And since they test everything before and after installation, it could take longer than expected to get the best parts and get your car back. The first engine they got from the distributor didn’t have adequate compression so they got a different one that had even less miles on it. They use high end parts and are very communicative during the whole process. Later, the serpentine belt was making noise on startup and they were happy to take the car overnight and fix it at no extra charge. Now my car starts up and runs quieter than ever before. Overall, I felt that they truly cared for the health and safety of both me and my car. These are good people that do good work.
