To be fair, I've been with them for many many years. I transferred my checking and most of savings to another CU because their fees and services are pretty bad. I opened a PREPAID CC several years ago to help boost my credit. Now that my credit was well off, They're not much help. Plus They make it very difficult to close that credit card. I walked in and they said they needed a written letter from me, to close my own PREPAID CC? Wow!! Now if you value your credit and most of you do, just know that I haven't used this card for 3 mos. It's for emergency use only. Paid it off months ago. I had 1 Cent in my balance from interest or something, which I can't see from my main page online. I have to click into my account to see that I owe $00.01. They gave me a derogatory mark on my credit and dropped my score 100+ points. I called them and they said they can waive the 1 Cent and will remove the negative mark but this is after the DAMAGE WAS DONE. Crystal from LOAN RESOLUTIONS acted like she was doing me a favor for waiving that one cent. She even hesitated and still said you can go online and pay it right now. The nerve of these people at the CU. I manage my credit and accounts quite well and this is the first in a decade that a bank/CU does this. Just wow. Please stay away from this place. Their service and care for members has gone down. That's why I open all my loans with other CU or banks. I'm just here to warn people. I'm planning on closing my accounts and transferring everything to another CU because that was ridiculous. I been with this CU on and off since 2008 and back then it was nice... Now they treat Latinos like cattle. They just want you in n out and making you believe they deal with your money in a positive way. If you're Hispanic please tell your family members to stay away from this place. They do not care about you. Save your own money and cash. They don't even tend to you face to face, they put screens. That alone should tell you they don't care about you. Their financial advisors are there to convince you to stick with them, not to advise you on how to gain money from interest. Por favor guarden su dinero. No vengan a este CU, no sirven para nada. Se los advierto. E tenido AÑOS con ellos. Por favor!

CAUTION RIVERSIDE RESIDENTS: Think twice, think long before opening and putting your money into this Institution, no matter the perks or rewards. Won't be beneficial overall in the long run or in case of an emergency. There is only "ONE LOCATION" in the COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE; this bank is ONLY OPEN WEEKDAYS, CAN NOT or WILL NOT accept deposits into ATM machine, also there is only ONE REPRESENTATIVE on site which is located inside of the VA hospital. Be smart and realistic when deciding where to place "YOUR" dollars or checks!! Good luck!!

I would never do business with this credit union. They are a heartless money hungry institution. My father recently passed and had a truck financed through them. I called them to make the payment which they wouldn't take. It took them several weeks before I could get a call back, as well as they wouldn't even deal with me until the death certificate came in. I wanted to work out paying off and asked if they could waive any late fees since I tried to make the payment and they wouldn't let me. They did nothing at all to make this already difficult process any easier. Steer clear and go to NuVision or Golden1 Credit Union.

If I could I'd give FPCU a NEGATIVE STAR ranking! FPCU recently took over my favorite banking place of over 40 years-- RAFE CU. FPCU closed my branch and fired all the employees that were so kind and helpful to me over the years. FPCU has made my banking experience comparatively very expensive and problematic. I did a refi and they sold the loan the month after it closed. They raised minimum account deposits from $25 to $1,500, They stopped giving interest on checking accounts. Their IT system is so rigid it wouldn't recognize my checks so that I could e-bank with them. I had to purchase new ones even though I had 4 new boxes prior to the takeover. I have multiple accounts and they gave me 1 new check booklet. Now they have changed their e-banking so that it won't recognize internet explorer and I can't even log into my accounts!!!!! They told me to use the phone for banking, but after several go arounds with new pass codes etc...their phone voice still says it doesn't recognize me!!!!!!! Don't let FPCU take over your credit union no matter what they say! I'm taking my business elsewhere. signed, A Very disgruntled customer! Marcia Narog

April Reid at the Loma Linda VA Is an angel sent from heaven. She's fair and honest and truly cares about her customers. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have opened any accounts at this bank because I had other accounts. Her service is what sold me.
