Nov 28 2023 My first return trip since last year. Looking for long sleeve mens shirts. They have hundreds of articles of clothing sorted on racks. Going back today to find another shirt. Store is clean, as neat as possible. While its difficult for the SA stores to sort and shelve the crazy variety of stuff they get, the store looks clean and organized. I have also been at the outside-rear of the store leaving off stuff too. Its always been handled pleasantly and decently. You cant understand what the collection operation is like until you have worked in it. They face loads of dirty, broken crap as well as pristine name brand items. Think: The worst, unsellable stuff from garage sales to near new items. I have two daughters who when they were young only shopped at name-brand, expensive clothing stores. One day I sent them to the SA store and Kmart. They saw two well known multimillionaires' shopping for clothes ! They are now cured. They shop for clothes at SA stores. Me too.JK, Lodi. CA

I love this thrift store and try to visit when I am in Lodi for appointments from the Sacramento area. It is a treasure trove and it supports a good cause.

Shout out to Kenny! While I was waiting in line to drop off donations, he unloaded two end tables from the car in front of me. I asked him if they were for sale and what it would cost for me to buy them. He quickly ran to the front of the store and came back with a very fair price. After I paid for them he offered to load them in my car. I really appreciated how helpful he was and how quickly he was able to get things done!

Make sure you have plenty of time if you go here! They have tons of clothes and you will need a lot of time to look through them as they aren't sorted by size. They have changing rooms which is sometimes a rare feature at thrifts.

Today I shopped here and I had the worst experience ever. The items were tagged at a price and at the counter they tried to change the price and even accused me of changing the tag when the tag was zip tied onto the item. The cashier was flat out racist and the saddest part was that she was a fellow Hispanic being racist towards her own people. Super disappointed. I will never shop here again!

I love coming to this store. The staff is friendly and they make me feel welcomed as soon as I walk in. The store representative, Leah takes the time to make sure I am aware of the daily sale and answers any questions I may have regarding electronics or other items. My 4 year old daughter also loves coming to see her and the staff greets her too with a smile!I love thrift stores and I highly recommend this store as they always have new items and a clean store! Definitely worth going there!

I don't normally leave reviews, at all, but the lovely employees urged me to share my feedback to balance out some of the negative reviews. I live in the Bay Area, and by far is this Lodi Salvation Army store my favorite thrift store I've ever been to. All of my clothes are thrifted, and I always leave this location with a large bag (if not 2) full of new clothes. The employees are friendly and keep the store tidy. They are roaming the store stocking, organizing and willing to answer your questions. Also, the dressing rooms are now open!!! We haven't seen the inside of dressing rooms because of COVID, but this was a game changer for me on my visit this last weekend. Needless to say, thank you Salvation Army Store Lodi for great deals!!!!!

This store receives thousands of items every week, and yet shelves are EMPTY. Why? Where are you taking the good items that get donated from our local community? They go straight to Stockton on a truck and then they cherry pick and send stuff back to Lodi. Not cool. If you get so much stuff for free where is it?? Why are shelves always empty? Why is there so much stained and cheap clothing? Most importantly why do you think a cheap end table would be worth $39.99 at a thrift store?? Furniture is way overpriced as is the artwork. The store is dirty, cluttered and never has anything good. Management is awful. Do something with this store. bring in the GOOD merchandise that our community donates

Didn't really find much but had fun with Kerry Jo looking for goodies. I found a scraper used to wick water off of horses, lots of Country bumpkin signs & doodads. They call it, "Brickabrack" I simply love that word! The employees were awesome!

Beware, there's no dressing rooms available, so buying clothing is pretty much impossible. Well, they have dressing rooms but they're closed and taped off. Will not be returning until this is fixed.
