We have boarded our German Shorthaired Pointer here a few times now for both longer and shorter stays. The staff is friendly, the grounds are clean, and they are very reasonably priced. Most importantly though, our dog always comes home happy and tired! Our dog tends to get separation anxiety and we always feel guilty leaving him anywhere for an extended period of time. It is SO reassuring to see videos of him on their Instagram running around and making new friends. Thank you Sunset Kennels for taking such good care of our fur baby, Finn!

Had a really good experience when we boarded our dog here. Very friendly staff and nice grounds. We'll definitely bring our dog back!Update June 2023. We've boarded our dog here several times over the past 7 years. He always has a great time and they take such good care of him. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to board their dog.

I called this morning to ask a few questions about Sunset Kennels and was greeted by a very kind and professional person named Amber. I've been around many animal care environments and businesses, and so far Sunset Kennels seems to be very well-run and organized compared to others. Their photo gallery consists of happy dogs! A clean and welcoming Kennel with smiling dogs, what else could you ask for?

We always feel good leaving our babies with the staff at sunset kennels. They take extra time to talk with you and answer questions. Shannon is experienced and knowledgeable. We will be bringing our dogs here as needed for years to come.

Love love love Sunset Garden Kennels! They are the best! They are extremely clean and the care and attention given to the animals housed there is exemplary.Also their trainer Allie is wonderful.I would not take my dog anywhere else.

My fiancé and I were displaced from our home due to a wildfire. I talked with Shannon who was amazing and understanding and so compassionate. They housed our two cats for over a week and shared videos and updates. They truly made us feel so great about the decision to board our cats. It was such a relief to know my two babies were safe and being loved. One less thing we had to worry and stress about! Loved the service and if we ever need we will use Sunset Kennels again!

What a great experience at Sunset Kennels Garden Retreat! The staff were amazing and kept us up-to-date regarding our dog and how he was doing while being boarded for seven days. I really appreciate the staff member that went over and above to reach out to us a few days before we came home. I will definitely recommend this establishment! Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job watching our dog!

Finally found a place I am comfortable leaving my fur babies! Very friendly staff, prompt in returning phone calls. Tour showed the entire facility to be clean and organized. Walking through the kennels to see where my pups would stay together in an indoor / outdoor run allowed me to see that the pets on premise were in clean kennels. The price *might* seem a tad higher than others in the area BUT all of those other places nickel and dime you! This much to bring your own food, that much for playtime. Sunset kennels not only allows you to bring your own food but also their toys and bedding. They give potty breaks and playtime in the large yard area. Truly a home away from home!
