The prices are fair, and the results are exactly what I ask of them. They are the only place around that grooms larger dogs. As long as I live in the area, this is where I'll be going.

Sunset Kennels Garden Retreat
19705 N Ray Rd, LodiWe have boarded our German Shorthaired Pointer here a few times now for both longer and shorter stays. The staff is friendly, the grounds are clean, and they are very reasonably priced. Most importantly though, our dog always comes home happy and tired! Our dog tends to get separation anxiety and we always feel guilty leaving him anywhere for an extended period of time. It is SO reassuring to see videos of him on their Instagram running around and making new friends. Thank you Sunset Kennels for taking such good care of our fur baby, Finn!

Harris Veterinary Hospital
17112 CA-88, LodiI was very happy with my overall experience with Harris Veterinary. My cat had an unfortunate accident and had to get part of her tail amputated. Dr Jones was friendly and straight to the point, which I appreciated. The staff I interacted with were also very friendly. I made a couple of calls and unplanned visits back over, but they were so understanding and accepting. I will definitely come back for any future treatment we might need.

Lodi Veterinary Hospital
325 W Lockeford St, LodiAbsolutely the best veterinarians, vet technicians, and staff we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Sadly we moved out of the state one month ago and no longer have them as our valued caretakers and advisors for our beloved dogs Beringer and Murphy. We do however still highly recommend them to all of our family and friends still in the area. Our German Shepherd Beringer was a product of a backdoor breeder that was pulled from the Stockton shelter and brought through a rescue and kept by my husband and myself. He came with a host of issues at only a year old. Yeasty ears that several veterinarians could not cure, severe hip dysplasia, among other things. We finally found Dr. Hayden Webster who gave us a miracle cure for his ears and he has not had a problem since. We have been able to keep him very comfortable, he is nine years old and still playing with our crazy active five year old rescued GoldenDoodle, Murphy, (okay, Beringer stands there and Murphy runs circles around him while he barks and lunges at him) ;)

But Sherrie knows working dogs and I know my dogs will be well taken care of.Sherrie also put the foundation for the BH, an obedience title, on my dog. And finally, she is the source of Inukshuk for my dogs.I highly recommend Sherrie as she knows dogs (and people) and how to train them (dogs and their owners).

710 Beckman Rd suite D, LodiWe walked in Saturday around 1:30pm and it was empty. We were a party of 9. $10 tasting fee for 3 wines and $15 for 5 wines. They don't normally waive tasting fee. Most of the wines were light tasting. We were poured a comp semi sweet moscato to start off. The viognier, chardonnay and petite syrah were bolder. There was an earthy merlot. Some reds were tannic and some were smooth. The pours were ok portion. They allowed dogs. I think you can bring food too since they don't sell any.

The service was attentive as one of the members I was with was picking up their wine and oils for the month. The establishment is beautiful and a great place to spend your time trying olive oils and wine with family and friends regardless of the weather.

The last time I was in Lodi, this space wasn't what it was when I visited last week. It was so beautiful and unrecognizable. The wines weren't great, but the service when we finally got served was good. We walked into their indoor tasting room and this brunette with long scraggly wavy hair waved over a party behind us although we had already stood there waiting 15 minutes. Sadly the chocolate barb pictured before was the best thing we consumed here. We ordered a red holiday/ white holiday tasting, but didn't leave with any wine. We weren't impressed by our tastings. We closed out and had our driver take us to our next destination.
