Sherrie is my dog’s home when I am away from home. Kinship K9 is about an hour away from me and there are many boarding facilities that are closer. But Sherrie knows working dogs and I know my dogs will be well taken care of.Sherrie also put the foundation for the BH, an obedience title, on my dog. And finally, she is the source of Inukshuk for my dogs.I highly recommend Sherrie as she knows dogs (and people) and how to train them (dogs and their owners).

Sherrie took very good care of my dog, Winter. The training provided helped Winter with jumping and lunging at people. Thank you so much, Sherrie, for your hard work.

Our 8 month old German shepherd husky mix, Bailey, was driving us absolutely insane. We weren't able to take her in public at all without causing a scene. She refused to listen and refused to cooperate on the leash. Sherry took Bailey for boarding and training for four weeks and we have a brand new dog now. She walks on a leash and doesn't pull at all. She is able to focus on herself and doesn't get distracted by other animals or people. We are able to finally take her out in public without worrying about her running away or trying to get into things she is not supposed to. Sherrie is amazing and we are thoroughly impressed with our dog and how well behaved she has been since she came back from training over a month ago. While Bailey was gone, Sherrie provided updates on her progress and would send pictures of her here and there. We were given a follow up appointment a couple of weeks after Bailey came home for Sherrie to provide advice and make sure Bailey was still on her best behavior with us at home. Sherrie still responds to all of our questions and offers simple solutions every time we text her. I highly recommend training with Kinship K9. Worth every single cent!

The owner was so accommodating and helpful. I was on my last rope with my bratty husky and she spent one on one time helping us understand our Bellatrix's behaviors and proving helpful tools.

Staff were very compassionate and flexible. I had to look for lodging for our bluetick coonhound for memorial day weekend at the last minute and I was lucky enough to find this place. The outside, the grounds were well maintained and every dog had a different lodge area based on size. The kennels were well maintained and they made sure to ask the frequency of feedings and walks needed. Overall, I was very impressed with the facility and staffing. No problems from our pet. Highly recommended for boarding.

When we first adopted our 1-year-old 90 pound German Shepherd, I could not even walk him alone because I did not know how to control him on a leash. He was so excited and pulling everywhere. After taking him to Kinship K9, I am not exaggerating when I say we get compliments every week about how well-behaved our dog is! We worked with Sherrie for dog training over an 8 week period; 1.5 hours every week. She is very knowledgeable and a great trainer of both people AND dogs. The Kinship K9 motto is true: Training for BOTH ends of the leash. Much like visiting any other kind of specialist, the once-a-week training is very valuable, but the MOST important part is doing your work at home, every single day. Sherrie teaches you exactly how to work with your dog on a daily basis so that you see marked improvement in your pup on every week. She sends you home with homework so you can follow along, and even recommends YouTube videos if you get stuck. I highly recommend bringing your dog to Kinship K9 if you are ready to build a strong bond with your dog in a proven, safe environment.

This place is amazing and me and my little one (Pumpernickel) love it here. It is like his second home and he always has a good time. Sherrie is always so caring and attentive to the dogs' needs. The property is spacious and plenty of lush grass to play and run around. She also does training and holds classes here and is very knowledgeable about dog care, health, and behavior. I've had to leave my fur baby here for "camp" a few times when I am out of town and Sherrie has been so accommodating with this. One time, an older dog got out and attacked my little one but thank goodness he was OK and Sherrie took care of him including vet services too, which shows how dedicated she is to the dogs. If you need a trainer, boarding, or doggy daycare services, this place is the place to go! Pumpernickel sends his love!

I had my 10 month-old puppy complete a month long board & train program with Sherrie. He came home with many new skills and we could not be more pleased with our decision to use Kinship K9. The training method included lots of affection and rewards but Sherrie was also firm in her training. It was clear that she had genuine concern regarding the success, well-being & outcome for our dog. We appreciated the follow up lessons after his stay that were included in the price. I was afraid he might come home with problematic barking from being around the dogs that she boards, but that did not happen. If you need training for your furbaby or boarding, I can highly recommend Kinship K9.

Sherrie kept my 10 month-old dog for about a month in her board & train program. It killed me not to be able to visit but she provided weekly updates & occasional videos. He came home with SO MANY new skills and just seemed "settled down" compared to when he left. She uses lots of affection and rewards but is firm with her training too. Her property in Lodi is spacious, secure & peaceful. Included in the training are 2 follow-up lessons that she let us schedule at our convenience. In addition she checked in with us after his stay several times to see how he was doing & to help us troubleshoot. Sherrie loved our boy and was a great choice, I can highly recommend her!

My dog is a rescue Malinois and means the world to me. Sherri came highly recommended and I felt very comfortable leaving my boy with her for 11 days. He was loved and cared for just like at home. I would trust Sherri and her staff with my precious boy - absolutely. He even came back with some better habits. Thank you Kinship K9!!

Cheri is a great trainer. We took our Doberman for board and care training for 3 weeks. She treated our dog like it was her own. Our dog came back so much better than when we dropped her off. Highly recommend as Cheri has such a good knowledge of dog behavior and how to get the best dog for your family

Today was our Lexi Girls first meeting with Sherry. It went amazing! Sherry came to the house and gave me some great starting training tips for Lexi ( 6month old Golden Puppy) and Lexi did great!! I Love the one on one training as well as advise! Lexi took to Sherry almost immediately! We also have a 7 year old Golden (Chloe) whom also was wanting to get in on the training lol I Love how calm and eager to learn Lexi was with Sherry!! Totally Amazing experience! Looking forward to put what we "All" learned into practice as well as our next session. I Highly recommend Sherry to Everyone!! I also put the training for jumping into play when my husband got home and Lexi's already stopping the jumping on him. Looking forward to next time!
