Jim was very helpful and gave exceptional service. After hitting something on I5, the undercarriage on my car popped out and was scraping along the road. His shop was one of the only places in town open after 5:00 PM, and even though the tow truck didn’t get us to the shop until just before closing, Jim was eager and willing to help us. He was very friendly and was able to re-attach the undercarriage to the bottom of my car quickly, getting us back on the road as soon as possible. We will certainly remember his shop the next time we pass through.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I don’t leave many reviews and a five star review from somebody that did not work on. My car seems strange, but I called When I broke down driving from Seattle to Phoenix, I pulled over in Lodi. The guy on the phone told me he had already scheduled lots of cars from previous appointments and couldn’t help me, but spent the next 15 helping me by telling me what could be wrong with my car what to look for What to have another mechanic look for and not look for and approximately how much the part would cost for my problem.

Very knowledgeable. He was able to fix the problem the same day and did his best to get it done for the lowest cost. He also give advise for what to expect on a smog check on a vehicle for the 90's. Recommend 100%Services: Exhaust

I recently had some radiator troubles and took my car to Joe's. He gave me a quick diagnostic (for free) and took my car in on the spot. The work was completed within a fair amount of time, and he didn't price gouge me. Gave me a good price for the work, and also explained everything he did in detail. I highly recommend the service if you're having issues with your automobile.

I was on my way to work a few weeks ago and noticed my low tire pressure light was on. I was going to go over to Costco to fill up my tires with nigtrogen. As I headed over there, I drove by Joe's Auto Repair. Jim has been servicing my cars for over 30 years and is an excellent mechanic. He happened to be at the shop already so I stopped in and asked if he could fill up my tires. He took time out to get his air compressor and check all my tires!! He does great work but he also provides great customer service! Highly recommend Joe's Auto Repair!!

Called to get a estimate,he didn't even let me explain what was going on with my vehicle, he cut me off and said for me to get to the point cause he had a full schedule, I was only talking for about 10 seconds, very rude and very bad costumer service,I spend alot of money on my cars and will never use this shop hope you don't either.

Took my truck there for a water pump gasket leak. Talked to the mechanic over the phone to set up appointment for drop off. I was put off by his attitude. When I dropped my Ford pickup off, I told my wife I think I'm making a mistake. But I didn't have time to do the repairs myself. I needed it done within 2 weeks for a camping trip. I told him the problems and purchased most the parts. He wasn't interested in anything I had to say. I get he has to do his own diagnostics. But at least hear me out. I wouldn't hear back from him for updates. I called every day asking the progress, only because he'd tell me he'd call me in the morning but never did. Days turned into weeks. He constantly had some long story as to why he couldn't get to it or his tools or equipment wasn't working, etc. Finally I think he knew I was getting upset. He tells me some one broke into his yard and stole my catalytic converter. Supposedly cut the fence, stole mine and a few others catalytic converters. I still wasn't getting what I felt was a straight answer. I think it really happened earlier and he wasn't telling me. Certain parts of his story didn't add up. Finally, I drove down there to talk with him in person since he wouldn't call me. He didn't charge labor to install the new cat but I paid for the part. It was a cheaper and lower quality cat converter than the cat I had on there since mine had been stolen from my driveway before. I called 4 other local shops and they all said in that situation they'd cover the loss completely. Not Jim. Supposedly this had happened in the past to him too. Why not fix the issue.? Security Lights , security cameras, a dog, etc. He fixed my original problem, the water pump, what should have been appox $500 job done within a couple days turned into over 3 weeks and $1,400+! Not only that, soon as I got home my truck was leaking radiator coolant from one of the new hoses he installed! So off to the parts house I went. Never again will he have my business. Good luck to you if you go here. He came highly recommended to me too.
