This store consistently has the WORST fruit and veggie section in all of lodi. Tonight they were out of a lot of staple fruits and didn't have one twist tie for the bags.

Cashier charged me for 5 bags when I bought only one. When I told her, she pretended to remove the extra bags and told me she thought I was with the couple in front of me. Never mind that she had to remove one of those plastic separators to start ringing me up.

Purchased a new gallon of milk, that same night I opened the jug and it smelled rotten. The expiration date was 2 weeks from date of purchase . I threw it out. Yesterday I went in for some sausages and they tasted gross. I cracked an egg to make breakfast this morning and the eggs were semi solid… I really hope food4less is not turning off their fridges overnight..

I usually have a positive experience here, today not so much. The cashier up front with the pony tail and red tattoo on her neck was not very friendly and seemed to have an attitude. As someone who works in the grocery field myslef for many years this is not how you treat customers. No matter the race, age, and ect. We treat all customers with the same amount of dignity and respect. Very disappointed food 4 less.

There is something about walking into a store that is so welcoming, bright and clean. I enjoy the produce looking fresh and stocked. The aisles are faced and organized which makes shopping enjoyable. Checkout was simple. The self check employee was so sweet and helpful. The outside was up kept and there were enough carts for customers.

Everything is very expensive at Food 4 Less than at Walmart. Recently, some of the products I normally consume increased in price: fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. One shopping day I was interested in buying corn and it was priced too high, corn costs $1.49 a piece, and a month ago (in December 2023) it cost 99 cents a piece. At Walmart you can buy corn for 50 or 70 cents a piece.

Food4less has always been the go-to place for groceries for me. Majority of the times, they have good deals on produce and dairy products.

Great Value and although it can get very crowded at times, due to its customer friendly hours, environment and helpful employees, it is usually the most peaceful place to grocery shop in Lodi, believe it or not!?!?
