Pharmacists both take breaks at the same time and close the Dept at 430 and then lie and say they don't take walk ins for vaccinations

Originally transferred rhx from San Leandro Costco but extremely rude staff led me to go elsewhere! Otherwise I go once a month and like it..

Had to have my tire replaced, showed up for my appointment and the manager was rude and not friendly at all. Picked up the car and the new tire had tire goop all over it and grease all around thewheel.

I appreciate that Costco is offering senior and immunocompromised hours from 9 to 10, but on recent visits 10 to 20 percent of the folks entering are middle aged or younger. In San Joaquin the new case surge is from this age group. Costco managers are smart; they need to solve this problem.

Went to costco right at opening. Had a terrible experience on check out. The Cashier was very rude, I only had 8 items in the cart and he moved my hot rotisserie chicken and stacked it on raw meat, I kindly asked him to take the hot chicken off of the raw meat and he answered, "I have to count all The items in your cart". I answered that's fine but please move the chicken. There was plenty of room in the cart to set it somewhere else but just to be a j*** he left it there another 3 minutes as he pretended to double check the receipt With the 8 items in the cart like 3 times. Then he slowly moved it off. This behavior is unacceptable and in these stressful times those attitudes are not necessary. He obviously hates his job but nobody is forcing him to work There.

I've shopped at Costco locations in multiple US States and Countries. The Lodi location is the ABSOLUTE WORST for customer service! By far the nastiest, rude, even mentally ill employees. Both optometrists lack the skills/ experience to write a proper and accurate prescription, they have no idea what a cataract looks like on a retinal image, and their solution to having written the wrong prescription for one eye? Make the other eye's prescription less accurate. Huh? So both eyes will be blurry? My 10 year old prescription from MEXICO was more accurate! Things that make you go hmmmm! The produce on display is frequently moldy and well past a safe date. Kinda offensive because this Costco BULLDOZED a prime grape vineyard to sell us spoiled grapes from...PERU? And good luck entering the store near closing time, employees will chase you yell at you surround you and get very very confrontational with you even if you tell them you're only shopping for a few items. Not sure if it's a racist thing, because the registers were still open and other customers weren't being harassed but really? Heaven forbid my presence causes some snowflakes to clock out 5 minutes late. Waaa. I'm not going to blast Costco for their pathetic inability to stock TP and other necessities as of late, but there is some disparity as to how things are being rationed. If I'm shopping for a 4 person household, and the customer behind me lives alone...how is limiting quantities to one per customer fair and equitable? Insert standard disclaimer, I understand this last gripe isn't the fault of local store management. But those vile, nasty, grumpy, rude employees need to be FIRED.

Most of my experiences at this store have been good...except for a recent visit. A Costco employee distributing Bounty paper towels refused to tell me their price. I only asked because all of the large price tags that usually hang over paper items were removed for some reason. Demand has increased and there's little supply so I assumed a price change. It would have been been less effort for him to tell me the price than what he did say, which was "either you want it or not". COVID 19 is no excuse for being rude.

Worst Costco in Northern California!!!! No costumer service. I'm a nurse that goes to work early and gets off late. I finally got off on time to make it to Costco in Lodi Ca by 6:05 pm. I was turned away because they were closed they had about 8 customers in line. The greeter was rude and yelling that the hours operation are 9:00 am - 6:30 pm (again it was 6:05 pm when I was off my car with a cart trying to get in line. I decided to come to Stockton Costco pretty much thinking I wasn't going to be able to make it in and guess what they allowed me in arriving there at 6:25 pm. I was welcomed by such a nice gentleman greeter that was disinfecting each cart and 15 more customers after me were allowed to shop. THANK YOU STOCKTON COSTCO!!! LODI MANAGEMENT PLEASE TALK TO YOUR STAFF!!! April 2, 2020

The hours are incorrect. I got there at 9 hoping to beat some the crowds but they were clearly open much earlier. BTW this is Friday when yelp says Costco opens at 10 on the weekdays

In a time of a pandemic they are allowing their employees to work sick. The gentleman that helped me today was clearly sick and he was a cashier. I saw him touch his face and eyes and mouth right before handling all of my groceries including handing me back my card. If he was sick I'm sure all of my food is now contaminated so be careful shopping here. It was very obvious and he was showing all the signs of being sick including a dry cough. I can't believe they would allow their employees to work like that! Didn't even have a glove or mask on and he couldn't care less.

The people who work there are great but numerous times they have been out of the medication I need. It's important to get the medication when you need it not come back in the morning

This review is for the optical department. I like to buy sunglasses at Costco but the process is insane. You choose the ones you want and then go wait in the same line as people who are picking up or selecting prescription glasses. It took us 30 minutes to simply buy a pair of sun glasses. That is absolutely unacceptable. 30 minutes for a 2 minute transaction. Costco REALLY needs to change this method. They would sell significantly more sun glasses if you didnt have to wait SO long in line with everyone getting glasses fit etc. Absolutely crazy.
