“I came here because the old place I went to increased their prices. Overall, this place has great service, good prices and has some helpful people like Dago and Jasmine there. Definitely my new spot for sure.”

“The actual car wash is terrific. But, there are OTHER PROBLEMS you must be aware of.You need to be VERY CAREFUL if you're buying a monthly car wash pass. They DO NOT disclose to you that have agreed to a recurring monthly fee. For the time being, I am paying for my monthly car wash pass, in person, and just one month at a time. Also, you will be charged a $10 membership fee. Apparently, this is optional and provides no apparent advantages. They do not disclose this to you either. I'VE BEEN TOLD BY UPPER MANAGEMENT THAT THE SO-CALLED MEMBERSHIP FEE IS NOT MANDATORY, yet their front-line service people were unaware that the "membership" is totally optional.I have now visited a couple of their other locations. The staff there were completely unaware of the monthly recurring automatic payment. In every case, they were also unaware of the $10 membership fee being optional. Apparently, they are not taught this by management. When I returned to their Lodi location a week or two after my very first visit it was to question them about why they paid themselves from my checking account, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Here's what I was told: "I don't know the other person's 'spiel', but here's what I'm telling customers with my spiel..." I let them know that they didn't need to tell me anything else. (A "spiel", or practiced presentation, is a form of persuasion.)The word "spiel" is typically used in the world of sales. Why in the world would you need sales techniques when the person standing in front of you extends their credit card and tells you exactly what they want to buy??? It appears that their front-line people are being taught sales techniques when the reality is that they are simple order-takers. (No offense intended.) A boneheaded, upper-management decision that also build up their bottom line.At that point, I asked them to let me talk to the manager. However, as he was away on vacation, I spoke with his substitute. That person was a total clown. (The Lodi location's manager WAS on vacation, yet he phoned me later that evening. He seemed a good person and I have no doubts about that. He told me how things are supposed to work.)"Clown" is not a term I typically use, but after many weeks of thinking about this, there's nothing else that fits. I have never spoken to anybody at the management level of any other business who was less serious than this fellow. He did not take my questions or complaints seriously and deflected at every opportunity. For example, I asked if he felt his employees might be liable for fraud because of their not fully informing their customers. This fellow stopped me in my tracks, and said, "We don't have employees. The people you see working here are our 'partners.'" You know, when people have been infected with "corporate speak" it often completely affects their ability to see things objectively. He totally missed the point that poor guidance from management can put their workers in legal peril.Only a couple of weeks after visiting Quick Quack for the first time, two of my checks were returned for insufficient funds. Not because I mismanaged my account, but because Quick Quack made what I describe as an unauthorized withdrawal from my account. This was one of several things that the substitute manager absolutely refused to acknowledge. I wasn't looking for compensation and made that clear. BUT there IS a direct line between their failure to make proper disclosure about their payments and the $50 in bank fees I incurred. The dude just whistled right past that little problem as if it didn't exist.I would have to say that Quick Quack Car Wash's business model regarding the handling of monthly subscriptions is, at a minimum, misguided. At worst, it is deliberately dishonest. Somewhere in the middle of those two extremes is the possibility of a disconnected upper management who has made at least one extremely poor choice regarding the concept of monthly c”

“I've noticed that most reviews on the Ellis Car Wash are more than a year old. This review is based on my bringing in 2 cars to the car wash on an average of 6 times a month.Since moving to Lodi in March 2020 I have been using this Ellis Car Wash. Admittedly it was not the best wash at the time but it was the only full service wash in town. Sean and his family had just bought the business, which seemed to have been neglected and needed much updating. This place is a work in progress. In September 2021 they replaced the old tunnel washing system with a new state of the art system. They are constantly upgrading the business and doing whatever they can to get the cars cleaner and in and out in a timely manner. If it's not too busy you are in and out in less than 20 minutes. They try make your wait a short and pleasant experience. The employees and management team are responsive to any concerns you might have and go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied with their car wash experience. I have been very happy with the service and have been treated very well by the employees. I only get the "Best Wash" and do not have any complaints. I can not speak about the other washes offered.”

“This car wash on Sacramento st in Lodi is the best! I pay $1.50 for 2:45 min to 3 min when I put quarters in and it’s enough time for me to use the wash cycle and then rinse. I have a4 door car and I wash once a week. Easy Peasy.”

“The staff and owners are very welcoming! They go out of their way to say hi, because I come here on the regular and always offer me lunch and drinks. I feel the hospitality, and they treat me like I’m one of their important customers.”

“So very impressive new ownership business. David had a contact sticker up it appears directly to his cell and he answered directly . How often does that happen these days! His car wash is so much nicer with everything functioning correctly, compared to the overpriced 3rd rate places I normally deal with in Modesto. The spots I have been going to prior turned off their warm water and increased prices, they got so cheap. Really nice guy as I called to thank him for delivering when so many people and businesses these days don't give a crap.”

“Gas station itself is great. Great prices and customer service. But, around 5:45 this morning someone stole an entire toolbox (locked) from the bed of my husband's truck while he was in the store. There were no other cars there so we think it was probably some random person walking through. Going to request the cameras if they have them. Construction workers beware, people like to lurk and steal in the dark.”

“The guys always do a great job. Take their time and don’t rush at all unlike some other locations. Truck was really dirty with all that salt and grime up from North but Andrew and Adrian took their time to wash it off and scrubbed it repetitively wherever it was needed to bring the shine back to stainless parts. Well worth it.”

“BEST Touchless wash around. The quality I’m used to getting from a Touchless wash. This one actually gets your car CLEAN!Unlike several other stations (Shell) that have a Touchless option, ($16) but they don’t use adequate soap nor are the jets powerful enough. Yes, $16 and you are still made to rely on rubber brushes that leave scratches all over you car and rip off mirrors and trim. They don’t use enough soap, if any at all, and the dryer shuts of early.Don’t waste your money at any other gas station wash. Thank you for having an affordable wash ($9 for the ultimate) that actually does the job!!”

“Great car wash bumped my door a little ruff one time and the credit card machine shocked me when I made a ten dollar choice instead of the 20 dollar choice. But they still got my car clean. That's not as weird as rio vista farms selling bug filled prerolls and bug loaded cookies to unsuspecting people.”

“They offer free vacuuming too even if u don't wash your car. At least they use too. I'm not sure about now bc it's been a couple of years since I've been on this side of town.”

“After having a difficult time with my lanes gate malfuntioning i did not getting the car wash i paid for and i was upset after paying $20 then getting home to realize my car looked horrible. I came back to the car wash after many attempts of trying to get ahold of management a week later and the guy working the car wash offered to give me a free wash. Mistakes happen but im happy they took care of me at the end of the day after learning about the issue.”
