We passes by this super cute little dress shop in Lodi a few blocks from downtown. The sparkles in the window caught our eye, and to our surprise we walked in without an appointment just asking if we could look around. There was a family with a daughter trying on dresses, so we assumed like every other dress shop we would need an appointment. The two women working there were so kind and attentive to us. They welcomed us in and made the experience very fun! They have a great selection of dresses and catalogs to help order other colors if needed . We ended up ordering one in a color the store did not stock in her size . Estimated delivery time is about a week . My daughter's favorite part was that they write down the name of your school and event so they will not sell the same dress to another girl at the same event . It was busy with girls coming in , but they all had opportunity to stand on the platform and twirl and get all the angles. So happy we found this store! We will definitely be back . Oh, and they offer to pay a deposit , then the rest at pick up, and even offer layaway if someone needed/wanted to . Great affordable dresses to allow every girl to be a princess!

prom season is coming up soon and they were super happy to help! they had a great variety of prom dresses and were very kind. my friends and i stayed at this shop for almost two hours trying on suggestions they had and they found 'the' dress! would definitely recommend!!

Shopped here for years since my daughters were little for all their banquets and events. Best service in the industry . Owners extremely friendly and treats you like family , and seamstress treats you like your Mom besides her talent , skill and paying extreme attention to details. They go out of their way above and beyond to help you pick a dress , they pick it with you too and help you with all you need . Very clean and cute store with all beautiful pictures and curtains and a very cozy bathroom . Dresses are the best most elegant unique selection with best prices . They let you try as many dresses as you want till you get what you are satisfied with. Thank you Katherine , Judy , Amber and Spencer . Love you all .

Amber's Armoire is a must stop for finding a nice dress for any occasion, especially Prom. The ladies here are genuine, helpful, and understanding, making the process fun and effortless. The dresses are very well organized, so there is no stress when searching for a particular size, color, or style. In addition, the prices are low and come in a wide range despite all of the dresses being high quality making it the perfect place to visit no matter your budget. This shop is the best!! :)

Wonderful, beautiful dresses!! Great trendy styles and an array of sizes. We came from the Far East Bay and will definitely come again for formal dresses!! Very nice staff and very affordable!!

Dress did not arrive in time for event even though we had plenty of time. I asked for a discount or refund of down since it came in to late. It was such a beautiful dress my daughter still wanted it so I was told I would get a 10% discount but the full price was withdrawn from account. I won’t return! Two formals later I have found other dress shops! So sad as I would love to support my neighbors but not when they don’t care about me or accept responsibility when they screwed up!!! $20 from a discount has now lost them over $300

You know, when someone has an important event come up, they generally trust the business they choose to help would treat them professionally and with respect. Well, not today. My daughter has an event coming up and she wanted to find the perfect dress. After a day of searching she found this dress at Amber's who did not have her size and needed to special order it. Deposit paid and dress ordered. Yay! One week later my daughter gets a phone call saying her dress did not come in her size but they would order one size down, which may cause the dress to arrive less than a week before the event. Panic mode set and off to the mall to find a backup dress. Another phone call two days later and the original (smaller sized) dress is in. HERE IS WHERE IT GOES ALL WRONG: Today we walk in and there is one girl trying on prom dresses with family in tow, and two other young ladies who walked in directly in front of us. Only the owner is working. She acknowledges the two young ladies and confirms what dresses they ordered. Five minutes later and she still hasn't said a word to us. Time to leave. But first I ask my daughter, do you really want this dress? She says eh- I kinda like the new one better. Ok so tell her to cancel the order. Immediately she is met with a scoff an a statement that they will not refund her money. Needless to say a, not so happy, discussion is had about the change and how we had to purchase another dress "just in case". Again- we were told that it says at the door "no refunds" and that no other dress shop would offer a refund (wrong!). Ok. Fine. BUT if the dress doesn't fit? This "lady" says- It doesn't matter, it's her dress to do what she wants. So your saying, this dress that she asked for in her size, that YOU did not look to confirm they carry that size prior to ordering and that YOU decided to order in a smaller size after the epiphany.......... she says I KNOW WHAT I ORDERED!! (Emphasis on "I") Alrighty then, try on the dress, if it fits, sold, if not...... She tries on the dress and there is a three inch gap making it impossible to zip up and given the style, corseting it would not work at all. What does the owner do? She literately tries to squeeze my daughter into it- impossible without breaking her ribs. She says FINE- you can have your refund, this is a popular dress, it will sell anyway. Oh. My. God!!!! And so with that- Amber's, there is no way on this planet I would ever recommend or refer ANYONE to your store- oh and for you to try to tell us your the only store in Lodi that's "allowed" to sell prom dresses? Are you kidding me??? Crappy service, unbelievable lack of professionalism, and over the top arrogance. To you who have made it through this rant and still choose to go, I wish you better luck than we had, but don't say you weren't warned.
