Worst uhaul service ever! The guy who was renting it to us didn't even say more than 3 works the entire time, even when we asked return questions he just said "you'll drop the keys off at drop off time" we get there no one's working and the drop off form says use drop box... there was no drop box to return the keys. We looked for over 20 minutes. We called uhaul and even they didn't know what to do. I'll never be back to this location!! All the trucks were dirty too. Disgusting establishment.

I can't remember a time when I've been in this place and have seen any of their employees happy. Every time I go in to fill my tanks I'm greeted with a head nod. Not even a hello. Management must treat them like s*** since they seem so miserable to work at this place.

Scheduled a trailer pick up for 12pm. Despite getting here 30 mins early, I've been waiting for an hour for "the tire guy" ... what's the point of making an appointment? Employees offered no discount, have no regard for customers or their time.

It is not this specific store but UHaul in general must be a horribly run company. They just cancelled my one way rental I had reserved arbitrarily and at this late date. Now I need to scramble to find a new solution. Suffice to say I'm never using this l**** company again. They should change their name to U-suck.

One star, and if I could give them zero stars, I would. You should NEVER deal with this Livermore U-Haul outlet. These people straight-up LIED to us. We wanted a one-way rental with pickup in Livermore and dropoff in the Salt Lake City area. They told us that with one-way rentals, they would not be able to tell us until the day before pickup where we would have to acquire the trailer - we might have to go as far away as Sacramento to get it. Obviously we wanted to pick it up in Livermore. So, in order to "guarantee" pickup in Livermore, we opted for a round-trip arrangement instead, even though it meant we would have to haul an empty trailer 750 miles back home with us, slowing our return home considerably. Lo and behold, we get a text saying that we must pick up the trailer in Santa Clara! We call the Livermore office to ask if the trailer can be brought from Santa Clara to Livermore and get a flat NO. We ask if we can return the trailer to Livermore at the end of our trip and again get denied. This delays our departure by a full three hours, as we have to drive an hour to Santa Clara to pick up the trailer and then return to Livermore to load the trailer - two hours in weekday rush traffic. (CAVEAT EMPTOR - that's Latin for "let the buyer beware": I did some Googling and found this: "U-Haul reserves the right to schedule an alternate pick up location and/or equipment as needed, based on the most convenient location with available equipment." Folks, that means **U-Haul's** convenience, NOT YOURS. Remember when I said the Livermore people lied to us? Yeah. They "guaranteed" that we could pick up the trailer in Livermore. NOT.) While picking the trailer up in Santa Clara (a much larger U-Haul location), we asked the attendant if there were any way we could change the arrangements to allow for a dropoff in Livermore at the end of our trip. Oh yes, certainly. We are handed a new contract stating that dropoff would be in Livermore and we take off. Upon our return, we arrive at the Livermore U-Haul location. The attendant was busy with another customer and said that it would take him a while. He suggested that we just unhitch the trailer and he would email our receipt to us. Since we had been driving all day and it was a very hot day, we agreed, unhitched the trailer, and went home. About an hour later, the attendant called, wanting to talk about the "charges." He claimed that we owed an extra $20 per day for every day after the first day of our trip. This would have more than TRIPLED what had been charged on our credit card by the attendant in Santa Clara. He tried to tell us that our contract said something it did not. "Look at the right-hand column where it says 'X.'" Um, it doesn't say anything like that. "Take a picture of it and text it to me." Sure, no problem. After seeing the photo of the contract we had in hand (sure glad we insisted on a paper copy of that contract from the attendant in Santa Clara!), the Livermore attendant agreed to "waive the extra charges." Yeah, the charges that he wanted to tack on - the charges to which he was not entitled IN THE FIRST PLACE. We have never seen such a bunch of bait-and-switch tactics in our lives. DO NOT USE THE LIVERMORE U-HAUL LOCATION.

Came here on my lunch break. Filled out the check in online. Gas station attendant was friendly. U-Haul rep was washing down the gas pumps, and even though I explained I was in a bit of a hurry he continued washing down the fueling pumps. Then it took 40 minutes on the computer getting me in and out. I usually deal with Oakland international and Hayward's Jackson U-Haul and they have always been great, fast, and efficentThis place was a buzz, and I went back from lunch late! The rep mentioned that the computer systems are always slow, and that's why it took so long. If your on island time, come here. If not, better go down the street!

I purchased a trailer hitch there (for a bike rack) and they put it on in less than 30 minutes. We're very happy with the job they've done. I think his name was Felipe. The other dude working there absolutely didn't want to acknowledge my existence. I can't say that I blame him, I had a two year old with me and she's very intimidating. This is your typical no frills Uhaul, it's not pretty, it's efficient. They have a water, a bathroom, and 2 chairs to sit in. For smooth sailing I suggest calling first to see if they've got what you need or if they have time to provide a service. Best of luck on your move, trip, haul, journey, or adventure. :)

I recently went to the U-Haul in Livermore to have an electric break installed. Felipe bay, the manager, assisted me and was outstanding. The work was done quickly and extremely professionally. I'm a very particular person and they did an outstanding job! I highly recommend the U-Haul in Livermore.
