The workers here are weird, there is a creepy middle aged hockey coach named David, and they dont care at all about their figure skaters and only about hockey. The rink is super grimy and even though they have two rinks, they are super small and hard to skate on. The workers are SO RUDE…

After repeatedly trying to reach out to them via mobile, email and even tried going in directly to the Livermore location (twice) , couldn’t find anyone to talk to , never got a call back and I finally give up. A very bad and a disappointing experience . They need to make the system more accessible unless they are closed and it is not updated anywhere.

Ice skating year-round? Cool. Really nice staff, too. They even sell hot chocolate ?. Right now Tri Valley's focus is more on organized skating, but free-skate times are still available. Just call and ask when.Personally, I would like to see a little more seating available. Bring a jacket.

My younger daughter attended the beginning figure skating class. I misunderstood the time, so we went to the last class of the previous session. However, the coach and supervisor gave my daughter and the other two kids a chance to learn with a different coach. I don't remember their names yet, but they're very helpful. The coach told me that my daughter's shoe laces were not tight enough, and he helped to tighten them. And the supervisor told me I should buy what kind of clothes for my daughter. My older daughter learned three sessions of figure skating at San Jose several years ago. Although Livermore Ice Building is a lot smaller than San Jose's, we got the chance to talk with coaches and get much more help. At San Jose, I never had a chance to talk with my older daughter's coaches. There were many groups of class at the same time, and I barely knew who was her coach. So many kids and so many coaches. I'm just very happy to attend the Livermores.

This place needs a remodel. Clogged toilets, absent staff. Looks like an abandoned warehouse. Nowhere for spectators to sit.

It is a little outdated and primitive but it's for ice hockey. Small rink.

It's a practice facility... Kind of dark and a little chilly...

A really good place they have a pro shop, good skates, a few drinks and food and they also have 2 ice rinks one for hockey games other for public skating or classes. My 2 favorite ice rinks are this one and the dublin iceland one

Fun to skate here! Will come back, mostly because there really is no other place in the area to go for this on the weekend. Wish the music had more variety though.

They have two rinks. This is great to create areas for both beginning and advanced skaters. The snack bar has beer on tap!

When I walked into this fine establishment, I was looking for a roll of tape. Immediately, I was taken back by the comforting atmosphere this place holds, but what grabbed my attention was a worker, about 5' 11" in height, dirty blond hair, and a cool haircut."Sick cut," I told him.All he did was grunt in response.Despite his response, this man was very cooperative with me when I asked for sock tape. I started getting frustrated when there was no unicorn patterned tape, but this employee was very kind to me and started acting like a unicorn to help fill the void. Oh how he neighed! Then, he offered to draw the unicorns on a plain roll of tape, but he had already appeased my desire to see a unicorn. While I was checking out, I asked this magical employee what his name was."Ryder Lahrs," he neighed back at me.I would like to personally thank Ryder Lahrs and Tri-Valley Ice for restoring my fascination of unicorns and finding my magic!

We came from a full size rink, and are so glad we found Tri Valley Ice! My kids like the smaller rink and find it easier to talk to the teachers. Speaking of teachers, we love them! Kids feel appreciated and are moving faster than our previous rink. Nice location right off the freeway, and a snack bar ☺️

The kids had a blast at public skate tonight at Tri Valley Ice. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. 5 Stars!
