You would automatically assume that the people who shop at St John would be a bit snooty because it's the crowd that can pay for that pricey merchandise, but man oh man, it's the woman who works there that has the snooty attitude. You better be dressed to the nines when you walk in to the store. That woman would look you over with disdain if you walked in with just jeans and sneakers on. Guess they just assume that you wouldn't be able to afford any of their clothes. Nice pieces of clothing, pitiful customer service rep. You'd be better off shopping directly from the SJK website.

This review is solely based on my experience yesterday (Mother's Day 5/12/2019). The other half dozen visits were wonderful. Yesterday, about 10 minutes prior to closing at 7pm, my family of 6 and I walked into St John. No one greeted nor acknowledged us. Shortly after, when we were in the back of the store, 2 ladies came in and started browsing. When this duo came in, one of the sales associates (short, not too skinny, frizzy long, orange/light blonde hair, tanned, very raspy/hoarse voice) said "You all know that we are closing in 7 minutes!" We all were shocked. One of the dup of ladies that came in said "okay good for you" I responded to the sales associate asking "should we just leave right now then and not buy anything?" She yelled "WELL WE WANT TO GO HOME TOO!" Upon her saying that, I gathered my belongings and walked to the front of the store when my Father and Husband were (my Mother and Sister were in the back making their way to the front). I told them, "We have to leave right now because this lady wants to close to go home so we cannot stay in here to shop" There was some confusion and the associate started to make more excuses. I had never in my life experienced such rudeness and crassness from a high end retailer. She not only attempted to kick 8 shoppers out of the store, 7 minutes prior to closing, she also made it clear that she did not care to stay to complete her shift for the day. Extremely tactless, hostile and disrespectful. I can't imagine every letting my person feelings ("we want to go home too!") get in the way of providing quality customer service. The other sales associate had a shocked look on her face and was just silently glaring at the rude sales associate. Not sure if they work on commission here bit she did loose out on a large sale and we definitely won't stop into the store again if we see her there. Horrible and distasteful woman and obvious that she SHOULD NOT be in the retail sales industry.

I adore this store. The sales associates could not be more helpful..I was blessed to have Sarah....who went out of her way to accommodate my various choices in sizes. She gave her honest opinion whether she had the other size in stock or not. I left with three outfits and know that I will look like a million dollars in each one. I read some of the other reviews and they said the store had clothes that were too conservative and "geriatic". If you are looking for trendy, this is not your store. If you are looking for class and distinction and fabrics that will last forever, this is your store. I have St. John knits that I bought over 20 years ago, and each time I wear them I get many compliments. If definitely depends on whether you want to be 'flash in the pan trendy' or a 'standout classic'. Neither one is right or wrong....for me this store is 5 stars out of 5!

Love it here, always spending quite a bit when I visit! But at 60-90-% off it was hard to resist! Always hood services, even though I look like I got out of the gym each time I was here ;) somehow the ladies there always helped me to find the pieces I wanted. Cray cray crowd during the holidays, but that when they had deeper discount! Mom loves it here!

Beautiful clothes and a great selection at this store. The sales associates are super friendly and helpful if you need a size they don't have. They will always check in back for you and then look on the computer to see if another store has it. I can't afford to come here often but they do offer savings up to 75% off the retail prices of their clothing. Their pieces are beautifully taken care of and reflect well on the brand. The sales associates are also more than happy to block the knit blazers for you if they are feeling a bit snug. They have a steamer in back as well in case you need something steamed to go. It is nice to see a team that works well together and enjoys what they do and the items they sell. The store is located on the end of the outlet mall near the Neiman Marcus Last Call. Drop by even if it's just to admire the sparkly pieces inside.
