I wish I could give a hundred stars for this shop!!! I visit Livermore every couple of months and I always have to stop here. I find the most precious and unique things for such a great price. The best part of this shop though is lovely Stacy! Such a breath of fresh air and cherry on top to an already wonderful experience shopping around.
Thank you Stacy for another great thrift therapy session, see you again soon!

Staff are super nice and friendly. Reasonable prices for the most part. Nice selection of shoes and clothes, as well as housewares.
The only it’s four stars instead of five is last week my son came home with two CDs, which turned out to be just CD cases - no discs - ☹️ but that’s the only knock I have. ?

I’ve shopped here for at least 8 years and the prices are the highest I’ve ever seen them. Very overpriced so unfortunately it’s the last thrift store on my list to visit. Staff is pretty nice ..the lady with the purple hair is the nicest and only person who greets people.

My friends and I will make occasional trips out to Livermore from Hayward to donate our best items to this wonderful ministry which provides support to disadvantaged women and children. It's a small store, so they may not be able to take everything if you have a lot, so plan accordingly. Then we go inside their clean and well cared for little shop to find some treasures, and usually do! After that, it's a great time for a lunch date together. Pass it on!

Sad to see the overpriced item's such as a plain white scarf with it's price tag still on being priced at $16.00. It was a nice thrift store a couple years back.Would be nice if they would go back in honoring the lord and savior jesus christ and back to their humble beginnings where they started next to grocery outlet.I used to donate a lot of my clothing with price tags still on them but, later came to see the extremely high prices and I took my donations to dublin where people can afford.

I use to buy from here but this isn’t a true thrift store when those of us with low income can’t afford to shop there. They want 15 20 $30 for donated used purses, used cosmetics and perfumes at retail price, that’s ridiculous. The name of the purse shouldn’t matter, when they are given to you to sell to people that can’t afford them anywhere else. They are all about making money and nothing more. It’s not a light uplifting atmosphere in that store. All the other thrift stores around besides goodwill are a lot better In keeping with the fact that it’s a thrift storeIt’s definitely not what the Bible teaches

I've been donating here for the past 3 years and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. I lived in Livermore for 28 years until I moved to Brentwood. I'll still make the drive every other month to take my donations here because it's such a great cause and wonderful for sustainability. It's great that they still have a lot of gently used items priced so appropriately. Nowadays at goodwill, you'll see prices that are close to retail. Here, that is not the case and I feel a lot better giving them clothes with plenty of life than any other donation center. They are always friendly and helpful! Definitely make them your first choice for donations.

I have bought jewelry, clothes, and pictures in the past. It's great to browse and search for treasure. You never know what you will find. I know some individuals who go daily to check it out. The staff are friendly. I like the prices and the value is excellent. Please check it out if you are interested in supporting their cause, which is to house homeless women and their children while they get on their feet.

Came to donate a few items after finally cleaning up our house! My fiancé and I had two boxes to give away and the process was easy. They take the donations in the back of the room. There was no line, it was just a quick drop off process. Afterwards, I wanted to check out the what was available in the store! The store is so neat and tidy, and organized. They got some neat knick-knacks! Would definitely come and check it out.

I am a frequent shopper at this store as I like to support the cause. However, lately I have been keeping my distance due to the rude and discriminatory nature of the managers/supervisors. I have had nothing but negative encounters with the supervisor "Bonnie" as well as "Holly". I have also discussed this with other employees and they validated this behavior is a commonly known tendency of theirs. Whenever I frequent the shop, I spend a decent amount of money as I tend to find goodies every time and never leave empty handed. Yet every time I am there and try to ask them a question or they are the ones checking me out, they are just blatantly bias. They will not say hi, respond to my greeting, they do not even mention a word checking me out. No smiles, no welcome, very hostile attitudes...Just complete silence. I end up being the one to say thank you and have a good day! lol I asked Holly a question and she ignored me! Just turned around and acted like she didn't hear me and walked away. I know she heard me as I flagged her down and stopped her, asked her the question and she just walked away. There was also another time I asked her a question and she just stood there and stared at me. There is no language barrier here, I speak English perfectly well with no accent, etc so that cannot be the reason. The other day I was there and Bonnie was answering a question I asked to the employee instead of answering me directly as I stood right in front of her. She said "you can tell them..." ummm, hello? I am standing right here, YOU can tell me. I find it odd as I am in there frequently so I do see them interact with others and they are not like this with all customers. It appears they pick and choose who they want to be friendly and welcoming to and who they want to project their irrational hostility onto. It is a shame as my multiple weekly trips have dwindled down to maybe 1-2 a month and even that I am still being subjected to their animosity. One would think they would be more polite as they are working for a women's shelter as well as the fact that they are SUPERVISORS! They definitely are not leading by example. Also, being a very regular customer I would also think they would be more cordial to those that are regular ongoing supportive customers. I will say that the employees are great! The nicest, kindest and sweetest people and just really make the experience bearable. They are always welcoming, friendly and hospitable. These so called "supervisors" could actually learn from their employees on what customer service consists of.

The prices on some things seem high! I get it, re sellers buy and resell at even higher prices, unfortunate for us who are just looking for our own use. I wanted to buy a desk light for $20. Closer look, the tag indicated "as is", the USB plug didn't work, ok i'll take it any way but wait the metal base also has a big dent in it! C'mon at 20.00!! Pricers at Shepherd's gate need to get in touch with the Shepherd! Humble thine selves!

This store is well-organized, easy to find and has a great community connection. It's purpose is profound: help battered women and children recover from their lives that included abuse and violence. YOUR donations help this purpose. Each year our work group picks a way to help a non-profit, this year we are gathering new and gently used materials from the SG list and donating. Women's month is every March- this collection & donation is how we will celebrate! We love the support that we see from so many individuals and happy shoppers... and our group is happy to participate.
