I am very surprised how the management hired and kept Ava and Lupe who seem to have no sense or training of working with customers. They seemed unhappy to be working at Ross. In the middle of a return where the receipt had faded and was taking longer to scan, they were displeased with the time it was taking and suddenly became attacking us the customer. And we were just quietly standing and totally were surprised as if a mental person has a breakdown and the bystanders are wondering how to stay calm to not provoke a bizarre situation as there was no dispute. I think its more of a reflection of the managements ineptness in hiring, as I run a small business myself and think its their responsibility

Went to Livermore Ross yesterday and bought my fur baby three cute outfits. Went to my daughter’s house in Brentwood to show her my cute purchases and one of the cute outfits was not in the bag. I checked my receipt and yes I was charged for it but it was not placed in my bag. Obviously I’m not a happy camper. Called the store two times let it ring forever no one ever picked up. Had to call the main headquarters to file a complaint. I’m waiting to see if they find the item. I’m going to have to go back to Livermore to look myself. Incompetent employee. Too busy gossiping about another employee while ringing me up. They didn’t know I knew Spanish. Not happy about having to go all the way back to Livermore Ross to try and find the cute outfit and if I can’t find it to get a refund. Ughh this sucks.

I called the store to find out if there was an extended return policy during the Christmas season. Response was "check your receipt"! I explained that I didn't buy the item, as I wanted to be sure the recipient had enough time for return. She said that they were short-staffed and would not find out. Firstly, any extended return policy should be basic knowledge known by any sales associate. Secondly, it would not be difficult to quickly ask another associate about the policy. Very poor customer service.
