This place is your go-to for so many needs: fingerprints, copy, printing, mailing, stamps, cards, notary, boxing, and so much more!!! Vimal is so helpful and will make sure all your needs are addressed with maximum attention! I went there for fingerprinting, some prints out, copying, and mailing overseas, and all my needs were addressed with so much attention and care! It gets busy as obviously Vimal is doing a great job and people choose this place over the Post Office, but be patient and you’ll get the best care possible!!! Thanks Vimal!!!

They are so helpful for passport photo, knows everything that’s needed — see page 3 of instructions and put DOB on front of check! Painless process (once I got my printer to work). I even got complimented on my passport photo and told I look better than 10 years ago! I am a happy old lady today!

Beware….. get a receipt if you drop off a UPS Amazon return! I dropped mine off and 5 days later Amazon have no record my package was returned….. with the correct labels and barcode enclosed! Thank goodness it was not a high price item! Disappointed as I have had good experiences here in the past.

Outstanding customer service! They always remember who I am, mention me by name, are extremely helpful and their personal touch makes me feel like I have my very own shipping and receiving office close to home! I've used them for my own PO Box, notary, FedEx, UPS, DHL and all postal services!

They provide the best customer service in town. Vimal and his associates handle and take care of packages as if they're their own. Vimal is very efficient and goes above and beyond. They inform you every detail pertaining to the package being shipped, and this is quite reassuring if you're shipping something valuable or time-sensitive. Their store is always well-lit, clean, and organized. For all my shipment and packaging needs, I've stopped going to FedEx, UPS, and USPS, since I started coming to the Postal Annex+ on Portola in Livermore.

I must say I am somewhat surprised by all the positive reviews. Vimal was thorough and I do understand that there is a need to up charge so that they can pay their bills as a business. However, they were charging me for 40 pounds of freight when in reality it was actually 20. They said the shipping alone was $130 but it was $80 at FexEx. I was buying insurance and was told that without the manufacturer packaging FedEx would not honor the insurance I purchased even though the item that was 90% of the cost (MacBook Air) was in the original packaging. I truly felt like they were using fear tactics and essentially hustling me into making a quick decision. They kept pushing the blame to FedEx (not a great look) And when I finally mentioned to him it sounds like I'm at a disadvantage using you over just driving to FedEx they disagreed. The interaction made me so uneasy that I decided to go directly to FedEx. I was charged somewhere in the realm of $175 including packaging, shipping, and the insurance they said FedEx would not honor. I just walked out of FedEx with a higher level of insurance, a smaller box, and confirmation that the policy mentioned regarding original packaging is thrown out the window when FedEx is compensated for packaging. I was also told that I would be paying $40-$50 at FedEx for packaging. I was only charged $13. I walked out a FedEx having received a much better customer service and spending $103 compared to $175. I won't be giving them my business at any point and I'm sorry I even walked in there to begin with.

I usually just send letters or packages here, so it didn't occur to me Postal Annex provides other handy services as well! My husband and I came in on a Saturday, no appointment, and Kama helped us with our passport renewal. She took the photos, cut them to size, made sure we had a check for the fees, and packaged them off for mailing. She was efficient and very knowledgeable about what form needs to be completed, what to send, and where to send it. She even has the zip code memorized for the address! We felt confident we'd done everything correctly and it was great having an experienced person confirm we weren't missing anything. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. Cost for passport photos was $14.95 per person. Another great thing about Postal Annex-- they will gladly take your used shipping boxes (from Amazon etc) and packaging materials (air pillows, etc) for re-use with other customers. How awesome is that?! Saves you the hassle of breaking them down and disposing of them yourself, saves money for someone else (I'm assuming they don't charge people when re-using materials), helps the environment-- win win win!
