We’re smoking on the freeway so I pulled over and started calling around the neighborhood shops to find out how much everyone’s hourly is. This shop is $225 an hour for mechanical. Other shops in the area or around 180. This is just for your information to help you select the best shop.

Carol really went above and beyond with customer service for me to make sure that my alternator was ordered quickly, and I was able to get my vehicle in for repairs asap. Service was quick and easy. Will definitely be back!

More of an FYI than a review, but to save you some time if you're not a business customer. I have been a retail customer of Peterson for years. They have always been fantastic to work with on my vehicles. I just called them for some help with my 2006 Dodge Ram that they have serviced and repaired several times before. I was told I couldn't bring my vehicle in for 3 week; I was like, geez, that's a long way off I have never had this experience before. Are you short techs or just super busy? The answer was that they are prioritizing their business customers and so retail customers have to wait longer. That is fine,Ii get it; business decisions, as I am sure MOST retail customers, are a PITA to deal with. They also recently stopped installing customer parts as a policy which was inconvenient, but I understand, as, again, most retail customers are likely a pain to deal with and bring them cheap parts and then blame Petersons when they don't work. I am bummed as I always had a great experience with Peterson, but will have to move on. :-(.

I took my Van to Peterson a week ago to have the diagnosis a brake issue which turned out to be the Vacuum booster pump. To make a long story short, the Service manager was not responsive, and was misleading, and straight rude, and held my van for over a week to find out that they won't install customer bought parts. The frustrating part is that the service manager in the beginning said he would do the Job which i then purchased the part, but after several days going back and forth, he said finally that he was told by the owner they wouldn't do it. I then came by and tried to speak the Service manager who was rude and said he wasn't going to talk to me and wanted me out of the shop. I then spoke with the owner who was calm and respectful and heard my side of the story, and then he apologized for his staff's behavior. If it weren't for the owner I would NOT even give one-star for this review.

Went in for a problem with my cruise control they performed all diagnostics on my car , the crew was excellent very nice and helpful, they found that my car couldn't be fixed since it was a Mercedes it seemed to be an internal computer problem, they referred me to somebody right away who could fix my car.. it was very affordable definitely and I will return for more work on suspension and tire service which I was quoted for. The whole experience was excellent customer service great diagnostics they and were willing to take the extra time to look into my problem ...

Get everything in writing to avoid a shocking bill. I was told $374 "out the door" to fix some sensors that were triggering a check engine light. $374 + the $185 diagnostic (plug the device in to get the code) + a $90 oil change i did not authorize. In the end my "$374 out the door" became a $645 bill. No written estimate, no verbal agreement to add the oil change. For basic repairs, there are probably better shops.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my car in for A1 service and to fix my broken visor. They did the service, called Honda for the parts for the visor, fixed it, and done by mid afternoon. They did a great job and very honest. No upselling.

Shady business operation. Management is abusive of employees. They forge documents to cover their a$$ after their emotional decisions backfire. Do NOT trust these people!
