This review is specifically for the customer service as I was unable to make a purchase because of the item not being available. Nina, the sales person who helped me, looked for the item and found it at an available store. She called and had the item shipped directly to the store for me to pick it up. Im currently waiting for the item but pleased with the service as it's hard to find sale reps who go above and beyond.

I came here an hour before closing to buy two pairs of shoes I already knew I wanted. But when I walked in nobody acknowledged me and I sat there staring at shoes while they all talked amongst themselves for five minutes. So I guess I won't be buying shoes here and I'm going to another store. Edit: I just went and bought three pairs of shoes at the vans store since no one wanted to help me at journeys.

I hate dealing with in-store purchases, you always feel lied to and you have trust issues when you think of that store. I don't ever want to come back here. Now I'm suck with s*** I don't want. I went in to buy a pair of shoes I've been obsessing with. The sales person (Janette G) turned on her charm, ordered my size online cause they didn't have them in-store, and upsold me socks I didn't really want. She said she was giving me a discount so I said ok, they were $9.95 but she rang it up for $4.95. I also had my own $5 off coupon, so I fell good saving at least $10 bucks. I didn't realize till I got home that she used my $5 off coupon on the socks and there was no real discount. One week later I got my shoes and decided to return both items. There was two girls there today (1PM), the dark hair girl with tattoos "helped" me said..... due to Covid they weren't able to return the unworn socks but I could return the shoes that I tried on. OK MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. If I return my items by mail they would of accepted everything, but they will deducted $7.95 from the refund amount. There was no signs, nothing mentioned on the receipt, and the sale persons of course wouldn't tell me that the "discounted" socks were non-refundable. I've worked for sales & customer service for over 10 yrs. I was successful at my job because I never lied to my customers and they always came back and referred me to their family and friends. I understand that its hard to hustle (make that commission), esp these days with Covid and unemployment but it was an easy situation that could of gotten handle better.

The salesman was helpful and fast when I bought the shoes. When I came back to return them because I found a pair in the color I wanted elsewhere, no one would look at me or really even talk to me. He said he had to count out his register, and didn't apologize or say anything to me. The other associate said he didnt know how to do a return. I felt like they were all for taking my money, but didn't want to help me afterwards. He could have switched to the other register instead of starting to count his drawer. People lined up behind me waiting.

Number one converse store in California customer service is a one I'll be the best customer service anywhere for young people you can't get good customer service anymore that service at Converse that was excellent great people working there like directly if they actually like their job it's very nice to see it's a five-star customer service told a cool Shoes

Visited the store with our two little ones who found several brilliant pairs of shoes/sneakers/trainers. Terrific selection, great deals and, above all, phenomenal service. A big "thank you" to the wonderful staff. Kimberly, the manager, is amazing as is Steve and the rest of the team.

Great customer service. Bought 4 pairs of shoes and their smile was why. finding what I asked for was the best. I know converse, we all do. I would hire those two girls cause they know how to make a customer want to come back. Sorry I don't know your names ladies. You where wonderful... I'm the dad with hello kitty luggage

The manager, Dustin, sucks!! He recommended me no show socks. I put it to test right away and ended up having blisters and bleeding for couple of hours while shopping at the outlet. If you never tried the product, just do not recommend it!! Just be honest!!! Dustin is a liar, beware!! It made my experience at Journeys miserable!! Dustin sucks but Emily (i think) Rocks though!
