We feel lucky to have found "Pirate Matt" on our last visit to this location! He assisted us in lighting and I have never had someone at Home Depot who was as knowledgeable and friendly as he was! He is a real asset to them and answered every question and went above and beyond helping us through out the store. He deserves a raise and promotion!

This place has equipment rentals - rented a table saw from here and a lot less than Cresco - all sorts of tools available right up to Bobcats - very smooth to rent and good staff.

JAY....in the rental department is absolutely amazing. The best customer service ever. He must of learned how to do that when he worked with BILL at Orchard Supply. JAY is AWESOME. The rest of the store is a mess, that's why they only get one star.

I rented a 4" wood chipper and truck yesterday. The morning and evening staff (can't recall their names - both men with white hair), provided excellent service. That being said, I would not recommend the 4" chipper. It jams too often. Either do it by hand or get a larger chipper.

Warning. Don't rent the $19 trucks. We rented it with the tank half full. When we returned it, it was a quarter full. Home Depot charged us $95 for a quarter tank of gas. It worked out to be appx $13 PER gallon. We used up 7 gallons to move a $50 desk from one side of town to another and ended up paying $150. $95 of which was for gas, the rest for the truck rental and taxes. I was happy to pay for the truck rental and gas but to charge $13 per gallon is simply OUTRAGEOUS! Looks like something the State Attorney General should look into. Perhaps I'll give them a call.

Staff here is hit or miss. After we moved to livermore this year, we have had some very helpful staff guiding us in our home improvement projects. The online delivery department has lost 1 of our orders (were refunded), but it was a headache nonetheless. Other than that this is a pretty normal Home Depot.

I don't know if this is because of COVID, but none of the staff is willing to help. I've been working on home improvement since February and every-time I need help I can't get any help. I'd say drive an extra .5 mile to Lowes if your a rookie like me.

I like Home Depot. Unfortunately, I've had to rely on a friend to pick things up for me. Items that they say are available are not. The part that makes me the saddest is being overcharged, not once but twice. My friend is kind enough to run an occasional errand for me but did not notice that they charged for 8 plants instead of 4 on one trip and for 10 flags instead of 8 on the next trip. I'm not sure how it benefits anyone to steal from customers. When I am able to go to the store, if I go to Home Depot, I will keep a much closer eye on what the cashiers are doing from now on. My friend has bought hundreds of dollars worth of items in the last couple months, fixing up his yard. I can't help but wonder how often he has been tipped off.8-(

For Patrick in the paint department! We have been in multiple times Saturday to Saturday. The two times Patrick helped us were the best. He asked the questions in a way we could understand and explained the differences clearly. He was professional and patient. Thank you Patrick!

Look..I understand there are changes currently going on, globally. I am the pillar of patience actually. I also understand that stores are changing operationally in an attempt to keep customers and employees safe. I get it.However, when you order curbside pick-up, so that you don't have to go into the store to increase risk of others, I expect that it is genuinely a service that is provided for a good reason. I pulled up to the parking stalls, called the number to advise I was there. After waiting 10 minutes, somebody answered and immediately put me on hold. No biggie, they are busy. After 5 minutes, they again answered, and again put me on hold. Another 5 minutes as went by and I was able to provide my pickup order number. I was told somebody would be out shortly with my order. Now, at this point, I was still fine, not in a hurry. I watched 7 other vehicles in the 20 minutes I was waiting on the phone pull up to curbside pickup. Another 25 minutes went by. I watched 5 of the 7 cars get their orders. I waited another 15 minutes and decided it might be easier to just go in. I went into the customer pick up area, waited another 10 minutes. Tjere was only 3 people waiting to be helped. It was my turn and I advised that I had called over 45 minutes ago to request my order. The gal took my number again and asked that I wait to be helped. Ok.. I waited another 15 minutes. I watched several associates walk in and out if the pick-up area with orders and some just standing around. I walked over to the area where orders were waiting. I noticed my order still in there, in a corner. One associate, a caucasian lady with jorts on, a pony tail and a hat looked to be wandering around. She went behind the counter and I approached her. In a calm manner, I asked if it was possible that I can retrieve my own order and I will load it myself. This associate looked up at me, raised her voice and said, "Sir, can't you see we have only two people working in here be patient we are busy".I looked around and the only people waiting were myself and one other gentleman. I replied back to her calmly that there was no need to raise your voice, "I was just trying to assist you by not having to load my order".She literally stormed off at a rapid pace, grabbed the cart with my order and wheeled it toward me. She let go of the cart, as it rolled and ramed into a metal gate. She out her arms out and said, "here, grab it"! Wow... I have never been treated so poorly as a customer ever.. totally uncalled for and unprofessional. Because of this experience, I will now shop Lowes or even go into Pleasanton Home Depot. This associate needs to understand how to respond, react and respect others. i recommend anger management classes ASAP!Seriously, this store experience was very poor and deserves 0 stars.

Was on hold at the Livermore store twice, both times they hung up on me. Was trying to find out where my online order was. Ordered 5 days ago. Website promises 2 hour turnaround on orders. Well, that's baloney. Prior to this called the 1-800 Customer Service, was on hold for an hour, finally got a real person who was nice and tried to be helpful when she called the manager's phone number, they did not pick up. She tried twice, no response. Obviously, Home Depot can't handle the nature of retail. How the hell they stay in business, I do not know. Maybe its the contractors. Oh, btw, HD took my $176 dollars right out of my account the day I submitted my order. Here I am, five days later, no money, no order filled, WTF, Home Depot! You've lost me. Good luck with your contractors.

I came in Home Depot, wanting to buy an electric stove.. waited around longer than 45 min for someone to assist me with my purchase. Had the worst customer service. Terrible terrible associates, everyone would pass me to a different sales floor associate, this is the worst place to come ask for help. I had to put a 300lb big stove in the car without any of the associates help which they usually do. Thanks Home Depot for NOTHING!!

On the phone for over an hour on hold.....no service. Then after waiting 75 mins line goes dead. They picked up and then hung up. Worst place ever, even in store. Go elsewhere or just buy from Amazon. Now trying to call again. I will never shop here again. Support local places instead. Do Not Spend Money Here.
