“These guys are the best! Bob & Gina are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I always feel taken care of and excited to drop off or pick up my next project. I won’t use anyone else for my gunsmithing/FFL service needs.”
“This is Adam - We've been doing business with J&R's folks (Keith, Chris, and Ryan) for over 3 years and they have taken care of all of our concerns, questions, and service needs. J&Rs is great if you are a first time shopper. Several years ago, my wife and I decided we needed to purchase a firearm for self protection. We canvased the firearms stores from Vacaville to Livermore. It took us months. The folks at J&R's did a better job than all the rest. They took the time to explain to both of us the weapons and Calif laws associated with those weapons. They have taken care of us ever since for our firearm and ammo needs. J&R's has a good inventory and good prices. When we need FFL services for receiving out of state purchases for firearms and ammo, again we rely on J&R, they have the low fees and process received items immediately. And when we need gunsmithing, again we rely on J&R. They are out of the way for us, it's a 40 min drive, but we do so because the other firearms stores haven't been able to support us.”
“Been going to this place for awhile now. Mainly equipment and firearms. Always been a great experience. Good selection of LEO firearms in stock and definitely the best prices compared to Solar Tactical. The facility is very clean and well organized with some great products typically in stock. The team at Adamson’s loves Freedom and the first responders that serve and protect it.”
“This store is a bit out the way for me but the service, knowledge and inventory make the trip worthwhile. They have many purpose driven products from industry leading brands. A lot of stores in California tend to stock the lower quality knock offs and super cheap parts to cater to vulnerable or hype customers, while Solar has a lot of products that are tried and true but harder to find in California stock. The inventory is well stocked for both parts and firearms. They have a wide spectrum of choices for your builds or out the box purchases but you’re not going to find the lower quality Walmart style brands which is a good thing specially for new shooters who fall prey to substandard products I did notice some reviews complaining about pricing so if that’s what you’re looking for you’re not going to find those brands there. The staff have always been helpful knowledgeable and honest. If you’re a customer at any crowded gun store or really packed day one thing you can do to alleviate this is to be courteous and if you just looking around or have questions just tell folks they can go and help the next person while you look unless you’re doin a pick up or paperwork. Plan ahead and don’t come in with an attitude everyone that’s doin paperwork is doin it as requirement not for amusement, nobody is singling you out with forms and rules we know they’re unconstitutional but we as customers nor FfLs are at fault ? . Just read the room dude. We in this together, stores and customers. Also their classes are excellent I do recommend their training services. I view the gun stores I patron in the same light as my local butcher shop, it’s always in your best interest to build a good relationship in order have a great experience. Gun smithing knowledge is also excellent because they have a lot of knowledgeable staff so combined they can answer 99.9% of any question you might have or at least point you in the right direction. Overall between the staff, the inventory and services I plan to make this my home store. ****Last tip if you follow their social media you can stay in the loop of sales offers and supply drops of high sought after items as well as class schedules.”
“Clean, effect and professional during, before and after my transaction.
It is very important to me that the sales staff isn't arrogant or have an "I'm betting than you attitude" at any point of the transaction. Plus they were very accommodating to my 86 year old father-in-law as he was selecting his next firearm.
