They have your beer, pan dulce, and choice of meat. Get there early for hot food or they will run out.

This review is well overdue. I want to love this store because the cashier is always so nice & they seem to have so much but I am very dissatisfied. I went there Wed, 8/4/21 and their fresh jalapeños were so shriveled, old looking. It's been a few times I go and find old looking meat. I bought queso fresco but seriously, it does not taste fresh at all. December 2020 I walked to their meat dept located in back. I asked for pata de res (beef feet) $26 to make Menudo. I kept getting sour/spoiled odor but I purchased so many groceries that Christmas Eve close to closing time, I was not sure where or why the odor. Got home, putting away groceries. Start getting together everything to start cooking menudo, open the bag w/pata and it was grossly slimy & very spoiled smelling. Store closed & $26 down the drain. There is NO WAY the Butcher missed the bad odor, he had to of known it was spoiled sour but decided to package & sell it that way. That is unacceptable. I assumed next day they closed since it was Christmas Day. Beware when shopping, check everything before leaving and I think I will never go back. I have taken a loss on other items that were not worth my drive back as I live about 45 mins away but $26 loss & this week has sealed it for me.

the Carniceria is to the right side of the shop. the rest of the grocery has the beers, pastries, dry goods, dairy prodcts. etc.brew: estrella jalisco mango michelada made with clamato (3.49)25 oz.3.5%-taste way better than the "other Mex" by amheuser buschcoincidentally, estrella is also owned by amheuser: golden road brewery.-has real clamato taste without the beer taste, boozy content3.5 starsa rare mexican market find in Livermore......

Consuelo Market has a large variety of products from Central America and Mexico at really good prices. I really like to shop here because the staff is super friendly and helpful. Also, the produce area is really fresh. If you are looking for aloe (google it! it does wonders to your hair and skin) this place has it at a really great price.

I'm a big fan. My wife and I shop here frequently when we need to stock up on perishables. Great for those smaller weekly runs for meet, veggies, and eggs. The produce is fresh and the meat is great. They also season up their own carne asada and it's fantastic. Additionally, they make their own salsa (they've got it spicy) and it's totally addicting. If you ask, they may have tamales available too. They DO take credit/debit cards. The folks are SUPER nice. The butcher always has a smile and recommendation and you can tell he loves his work and his customers. Great great Mexican market.

First time was good the older guy there did everything I wanted. My 2nd time here the kid was younger mid 20's he did everything I told him not to & now my nachos are soggy I told him specifically to separate meat from chips cause I'm taking them home. Ughhh very disappointing and I love Mexican food!!
