I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I had been looking for help with installing a BBQ island in my backyard for a number of months, and happened to pop-in one day to Bay Area BBQ Islands unannounced, and I am glad that I did. From the get-go, I felt very comfortable dealing with the staff. Wayne showed me around the warehouse, teaching me about all of my different options for the island and the BBQ. Unlike other companies, I could tell he wanted to help me find what was best for me, and not just what would cost me the most. After my first visit, an estimate and custom design were sent to me. We went back and forth for a little bit before finally settling on a custom design. They were very helpful in working within my budget, which was important to me. The island was just installed this week, and we could not be happier with the job that was done. Even though our project was on the smaller side, we always felt like a valued and important customer. We would recommend them to anyone, and would call on them again if we ever need similar services in the future.

We are very happy with our new barbecue island. We had received quotes from 2 different landscaping companies but the design and placement was not detailed. We then found Bay Area BBQ Islands in Livermore. Marisa and her team came out and took all the measurements and then gave us several options. They use a software that you can actually visualize the island in your own yard which was very helpful. Marisa also helped us choose the perfect countertop and wall facing and the best appliances for our budget. Much of the manufacturing is done at their facility before they bring it to your house. Wayne and his team then installed the island in our yard in just a few days. We would highly recommend you call Bay Area BBQ islands.

Bay Area BBQ Islands wasn't our first choice for our backyard project. We spoke with Wayne about grills and he was obviously very knowledgeable, but I thought they'd be expensive, so we bought our appliances from him, but tried to have our island built by another company. After a terrible experience with the other company, we learned the value of working with professionals. We had to go back to the drawing board on our island construction and circled back to Bay Area BBQ. Marissa helped us understand what was driving our costs, provided alternative solutions that met our needs, and consulted on design ideas for our unique lay out. The digital renderings helped bring it to life in a way no other contractor did. Once our project was ready to go, we had a life circumstance that stopped our plans. 7 months after stopping Bay Area BBQ in their tracks, we came back to them yet again. Marissa and Wayne were amazing and we kicked up right where we left off. They even honored the previously agreed upon price. All of this and the final product was AMAZING! The craftsmanship was amazing and turned out exactly how we thought it would. Bay Area BBQ Islands is hands down the best BBQ island contractor in the Bay Area in my opinion. They're pros. This is what they do and they do it well.

I ordered a beautiful Bull Angus built in BBQ island from this company, and it has been a great experience! Last December I wanted to stop in their downtown Livermore store the week after Christmas snd didn't realize they were closed ( over the holidays) When I called the store , Wayne met us at the store within 15 minutes and spent 1 1/2 hours talking to me about the bbqs , the islands, their process of building them in their shop etc. I never felt pressure to buy. Just great small business personalized attention. I walked out with a sale! I finally got it installed today ; the delay was due to a home project (nightmare with my HOA). The crew was awesome- respectful , kind, efficient and conscientious about their work and cleanup! It has been an amazing experience, considering this was a big investment. So excited to start grilling! You must check them out if you are thinking about a BBQ island. They are there for you each step of the way and very responsive to all calls and emails. Great customer service!

We recently remodeled our patio and added a BBQ island. We found Bay Area BBQ Islands in Livermore because they were an EVO dealer. Marissa had us come to the showroom to look at an EVO, and we were very impressed with not only the showroom, but with Marissa's on the spot design measurements to create the custom island we wanted. This included the EVO, Big Green Egg shelf and her recommendations on drawers and appliances. The Bay Area BBQ Island employees that did installation work took time and care to ensure everything was correct and the finishes all turned out beautiful. We are really enjoying entertaining now and love the island.

I had an excellent experience with Bay Area BBQ Islands where Wayne was my primary contact. They replaced two BBQ units in existing BBQ islands at both my primary and secondary homes in the SF Bay Area. The communication and workmanship was excellent and the pricing fair. I especially like the fact it was "one stop shopping" and they furnished, delivered and installed the BBQ units for me making the process so much easier. In one case they also had to modify the island to accommodate a different BBQ unit than the one that existed because it was no longer made. I highly recommend.

My wife and I were referred to Bay Area BBQ Island by some friends who were happy overall with their project but warned us that communication was difficult. I should have taken that warning to heart and done more research but after meeting with Wayne at both their shop and store I felt pretty good about things. My mistake, we like others that I read here have been trying for months to get updates on our project from Wayne or Marisa with the only responses from Wayne being excuses and assurances that he would look into things. "I will check with Marisa and get back to you....I will check with the fabricator and get back to you.....' Supply chain issues are real and that I can understand, what I can't understand is a basic lack of communication and professionalism. They have a a significant deposit and yet they can't be bothered with communicating in a timely or meaningful way. Something is very wrong.

After communicating with Marisa, Blake and Wayne who have done an amazing job of educating and designing the island for us which is not an easy task with our vision of the island, I am revising my review to a 5 star and I hope going forward that their product will hold up and turn out the way how we have it envisioned. They did a great job measuring and making sure the very specific specifications were met. Thank you Marisa, Blake and Wayne for your help. We are very excited to see it now come to life. Will send updates as this project comes to a conclusion!

Reached out on website and Wayne responded via email. I called and left a message for him the next day and never heard back. I called back in myself and talked to his colleague ( I can't remember the name) and he got all the info to quote me on a custom Bull BBQ island. Only problem is it's now a week later and I still haven't gotten a quote. Clearly they don't need the business.

Marisa, Blake and the entire team at BayareaBBQislands were fantastic. Initial consultations were efficient and full of information. They were very flexible during the design process and didn't push back on any changes or adjustments. Installation was smooth and very detail oriented. We are extremely please with the outcome and are now entertaining our friends with out new outdoor kitchen. We highly recommend BayareaBBQislands to anyone looking to build out an outdoor entertainment center.
